Decided to come here at the last minute & we are so glad we did!! The views here are absolutely breathtaking!!!! There are several trails with waterfalls, views from the mountaintop & we even found a cave. Lots to do here. We camped the first few days & stayed at the lodge the last day. Will definitely be back!!!

amazing. splurged finally to stay in Cabin #2, pricey but it is a cabin on a mountain with a hot tub and all the amenities. the views are always great, the hiking and all the fun there is always great. this added much more to it, i would definitely do this again. fireplace, hot tub, porch with a view, full kitchen, very comfy. staff is friendly too.

Beautiful drive up & down. Beautiful & easily accessible views from the vistas & all along the top of the mountain. Slightly perilous inclines & cliffs for hiking & rock climbing, but also lots of safe flat & paved areas for those with mobility weight or anxiety issues. Lovely cabins. Lovely large lodge hotel with indoor swimming pool. Worst food I've had in a long time at the restaurant/buffet they have. Restrooms available by some of the trails in case of emergency, but otherwise please spare yourself & use the clean & well maintained lodge restrooms as some sights & smells can't be forgotten. Lodging is a bit pricey, but day visits can be cheap or free. For a day trip, I'd say alott 1 to 2 hrs to see all the basics & walk around a little bit, & try to buy something while you're there to support their efforts.

Great place to visit and camp. The lodge is very nice with an indoor heated pool and game room. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices on the buffet. It’s a November tradition for us.

8:30 am on Mount Magazine, was absolutely AWESOME!!! The cool breeze was surreal. Being up there was so peaceful and the view was Amazing!!! If you’re in the area.. Must visit! Great for photography!
Mount Magazine officially named Magazine Mountain, is the highest point of the U.S. Interior Highlands and the U.S. state of Arkansas, and is the site of Mount Magazine State Park. It is a flat-topped mountain or mesa capped by hard rock and rimmed by precipitous cliffs.

Mt. Magazine state park is a quick easy one to cross off the list. Loved it so much I have been back a few times now. It does not take lo g to get up and down the mt in your vehicle or on foot with the trails. Herds of deer seem to be everywhere. I didn't know they even traveled all together like I saw up there. Nice views, will definitely be back again and again.

It was so foggy the entire time we were there, from the start of climbing the mountain up to the hotel, til we headed back down it, 2 days later. Like crazy foggy, to the point of too dangerous to even drive in. We had to go like 5 miles an hr cause you couldnt see 5 feet in front of you! But it cleared up for an hr kind of at night so we could see the lights down in the valley. Then this crazy storm brought in these high winds, so crazy fog and crazy high winds the entire trip pretty much lol def a trip to remember! We did eat at the restaurant there and the food was pretty good! Bought too much expensive knick knacks from the souvenir shop 😅 The rooms are def cool, kinda cabin look and feel. 🩵🩵 The screened doors that lead to the balcony! Spent alot of time out there watching the crazy weather! Im sure the view was beautiful, maybe some other time. We def enjoyed the pool and hot tub area! def would recommend the place tho!

Beautiful accommodations at the Lodge, and the food at the restaurant rivaled anything I've had in big city restaurants. Everything was clean, everyone so friendly and the view from the balcony was exhilarating. Highly recommend a stay at Mt. Magazine!

Had an awesome time hiking and checking out the different scenic areas in the park. I plan on visiting again in the summer and checking out the Cove Lake area and amenities

Absolutely beautiful area. We stayed two nights, hiked the trails, loved the expansive views.
Dinner at the Lodge was excellent (pot roast special) and the price was reasonable.
The park ranger came by to visit and he was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We discussed motorcycles and he gave us trail maps of areas we had no clue existed.
We’ll definitely be back to ride those trails.

Such a beautifully kept park! We had lunch at the Lodge, and was surprised to see it was a gourmet buffet! The food was full of flavor and our server was great. The mountain views out of the huge windows just added to our incredible lunch experience! We did the trail to the summit, which was easy and clearly marked. There was some pretty steep sections to it though, no matter which way you decide to go up. We even seen some cute lil chipmunks along the way. After lunch we enjoyed some of the overlook sections, and headed off to our next destination. We will come back again when we can spend more time here.

We enjoyed a group hike to the highest point! If you go be sure to sign the guest book in the mailbox up top! We loved the amphitheater! We are going to have to come back for a stay at the beautiful lodge and eat at the restaurant there!

We went to Mount magazine today for the first time with my children and grandchildren. We stopped by the visitor center which has some cool exhibits. We then went across the street and had a picnic. We continued down to the lodge and let the kids wander around outside. We found some little trails that led down to a cascading creek. We had a really good time.

One of the most beautiful places in Arkansas. Big lodge/ hotel with fantastic views. Plus camping grounds & hiking trails & horse back riding trails a little bit for everyone to enjoy.
