Few places can offer a truly authentic, down-home Southern dining experience to rival what you'll find here in Forrest City. Some of the best greens & black-eyed peas around.

The dining area has plenty of seating. Seat yourself. Sweet tea. Buffet and menus avail. Frog legs were good. Liver and onions were good. The gift store there is full of little trinkets and souvenirs owned by a sweet old couple.

I spent a whole week having breakfast and dinner in this restaurant, the flavor of the brisket and the smoked pork is really addicting ... if you want to eat fast and at a great price and enjoy the atmosphere ... this is the place. You can also bring souvenirs to remember the experience and culture of this pleasant place.

And for dessert lovers they serve a variety of local desserts which is one of the things I went for several times.

Just happened to get off the interstate and noticed this restaurant and I’m so glad I did. Best meal ever with the nicest people. This place is a must do !!!

The perfect dinner near the end of a long journey. Friend chicken, hominy, great fried okra and mashed potatoes. Delicious buffet, and the salad bar was fresh a half hour before closing time. Saved me from another Whiffle House.

Went for breakfast around 7 in the morning. They have a breakfast buffet or can order from the menu. We had the buffet which had a good selection of breakfast items. I had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, a pancake, bacon and sausage. The food was hot and tasted great. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. I will definitely go back anytime I get a chance to go.

My mamaw was a hard cook to please when the food came from any kitchen other than her own, but even she would have a hard time finding anything to dislike in this food. Wide variety and some of the best barbecue I've had in ages. I'm just sorry I won't be back this way in a while.

I ordered pulled pork sandwich it was nice and tangy, with great fries. Even the coleslaw was delicious. My husband had the fried fish fingers appetizer chopped stuffed steak. He said everything was great, even the spicy tarter sauce. Can't beat the price.

So many people I think have walked in here with the feeling of getting their minds blown from this place. That's not what this place is about. From the outside to the inside it reminds me of grandma's. When she calls to eat, you come immediately to get everything hot you delay, you get what you get. I will tell you this. For what they charge for breakfast buffet, you can't beat it. Much better than Cracker Barrel. Go in, sit down and fill up.

Food is phenomenal. Everything tastes homemade, fresh, and hot. You can tell the family and cooks take pride in the the recipes. Dropped in at 2:45 PM. Tried just about everything on the lunch buffet and not a single item disappointed. That’s extremely rare anywhere else. Bought a fridge magnet to commemorate this gem of a restaurant.

Best breakfast buffet ever. This lady is an awesome waitress. Very attentive to our needs. Never needed to ask for anything. She's a great Ambassador for the best country buffet. That we drive from Benton just to have her wait on us is a bonus. Get your grub on here it is well worth the trip to visit with her. Great job.

Traveling between Little Rock and Memphis on I-40, looking for plenty to eat with a comfortable price and pretty darn yummy food, you've found it at Ole Sawmill Cafe . Buffet offers nice selection! The fried chicken and pot roast should absolutely make it on your plate! Don't look for pretentious here, just solid comfort food! If you don't leave stuffed, it's your own fault!

My family and I tried this place a couple days ago and we all LOVED it! My hubby and I both have been craving their brisket ever since we tried it. Honestly, even the green beans are just perfect! The gift shop at the entry is really cute, too. All of the staff were so friendly, and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful meal. We are looking forward to bringing more family next time!

Perfect farm house breakfast buffet, thick cut bologna, homemade sausage patties, honey butter on a hearty biscuit, crispy bacon, grits n eggs.

Cracker who needs a barrel?

Great food just wish they would stop using liquid smoke on there ribs and barbecue. Everything else is great.

I live on the Westcoast and you can't find good ole' Southern food like I grew up with out there. Reminds me of home and will definitely make another trip next time I'm in town.

Family friendly, delicious and hot buffet choices. The curios shop is adorable. The owners are nice and gracious to host you.

What a cute little place just off the interstate. It has an adorable little gift shop there too. The food was delicious and fresh. Watch out for the pot holes on the street before the driveway. The place was clean and the buffet looked fresh as well. We had hamburgers and onion rings and french fries. The waitress was fun, funny and sweet. Get a chance give me try.
