Forrest Donuts

Great fresh donuts at Forest donuts. I'm not really a big donut guy, but there's not a lot to choose from in forest city, so I tried it out. Really glad I did. Nice staff, good donuts. I went twice during my stay here. I recommend the white frosting filled glazed donut with chocolate icing. Yum.

We were passing through on vacation and stopped for lunch. I'm so glad we did! I got the cream cheese filled and original glaze. They're the best donuts I've ever had. Super soft and pillowy.

Very nice young couple that run it, and their donuts are awesome. We ho there once a month when we're there on business.

WOW! We stopped here because it's just off I40 and convenient. But WOW, the bacon, egg and cheese croissants are amazing and so are the donuts! Definitely recommend stopping in for some amazing goodies!

This spot is a gem. The sausage, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich was huge for 2.99, and delicious. The old fashioned cake donut was the best one I've ever had. The cinnamon bun was up there, too, and really big. All high quality and super affordable.

Absolutely the best customer service and donuts I have ever had. Traveling with my family from Detroit to Phoenix and stopped here in a search for coffee. You will not be dissatisfied with anything on the menu. The twists are light and fluffy with a delicious delicate flavor. The coffee was fresh and not bitter and the mocha freeze was better than a frap from Starbucks. The custard filled eclair was so fresh and not at all over sweet. Please stop in and support this amazing local place.

They have the best donuts and breakfast sandwiches. The staff are so nice and remember your order.

Absolutely delicious. As other reviewers said, it makes a long road trip worth it. The apple fritter is crazy delicious and totally worth it, even if it gives me diabetes.

We stopped for donuts here in April 2023. The donuts and wide variety are the reasons Forrest Donuts will be our first stop on our next trip. It's only 256 miles from home and two months away.

11-13-2023 This was our first stop as we made our Arizona Snowbird pilgrimage. My husband likes the apple fritters and cinnamon rolls best. I opted for a raspberry filled glazed donut. It's worth your time to stop.

Stopped by this donut shop simply because there were quite a lot of cars in the drive through. Donuts were exceptional. My wife had a simple glazed donut and said it was soft, melt-in-your-mouth goodness, on par or better than Krispy Kreme. I had a blueberry cake and old fashioned cake, both were light, moist, and flavorful; I think the old fashioned had buttermilk in it, which was fantastic. Some of the best donuts we’ve ever had.

I honestly wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. The place was very clean the staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The aroma was heavenly. I purchased a mocha latte and a sausage egg and cheese croissant and both were delicious. I felt like the prices were reasonable.

These donuts are delicious. I do mean delicious. I have not 1 complaint and the women working the store was polite.

So nice, so delicious, and so cheap! The apple fritter is an absolute must!! Like a must. The strawberry filled bar with chocolate was also delicious. I would drive out of my way to stop here and I typically do not get excited about donuts.

I don't normally like cake donuts but the blueberry grabbed my eye so I tried it and I'd eat any cake donut as good as this.

The donuts were some of the best I've ever had anywhere, the coffee was fantastic, and the service was fast and very friendly.

What a GREAT FIND! We had sour cream donuts (crispy on the outside and cakey inside), a glazed (soft and puffy!), and a Boston cream (it was a long shape and my husband loved it). He had a Darjeeling tea and I had a vanilla latte. It was under $8. So not only delicious, but very inexpensive! When we drive to Dallas, we’ll stop here again for sure!
