Fort Smith Park

So glad they've got the lights that brighten the parking lot, and even the big light by the dock. They were also doing some serious construction work on the bathrooms so I'm guessing they will have those up and running pretty soon as well.
Always some sketchy characters down there but from what I can see it's not dangerous or anything like that....

Usually a quiet environment down here. Not used alot since it's a much older park in the area. Nice place to sit in a chair and read while the husband fishes. ☺

Great location to launch your boat into the river.

Great dog park at the park. My dogs love sniffing and running in the dog park, as this dog park is not the biggest in town, it is also not the busiest, a relaxing time along the banks of the Arkansas river, including trails that connect to the parks downtown

Very beautiful and lots of room great for kids and get togethers! Make sure you check out all the amazing trees if u go here! They are something not to miss!

Great Place for a fairly introductory level bike or hiking trail. Head winds can off the river can be brutal but a beautiful place to get out and enjoy one of Fort Smith's best attractions.

Cinco de mayo fiesta. Always fun. Lots of vendors. Loved meeting heath Roberts state farm and all thr other ones

Beautiful scenery here. Really nice paved trail leading out of the park and continues to downtown Fort Smith. Plenty of open space and parking.

Pretty standard city park. From my perspective the best aspect is the perspective this park provides to photograph the old Frisco Lift-span railroad bridge.

Great fishing fun. Saw a barge and tugboat and caught 2 nice carp. Good all the way

Nice quiet place to just relax

It's clean and peaceful... Took my grandson and pulled him in the wagon walking and admiring the river and the squirrels running about. They have a boat launch and many places to fish off of. Great little park!!!

Had a nice dog park. Beautiful scenic river views. Grills and picnic tables. Nice playground for the kids.

Beautiful scenery! Alot of shade, picnic tables, and BBQ grills for gatherings. Big and fun playground for the kids. Huge soccer field. We moved here almost 2 years ago and we hadn't spent a day at this park. Now that we have a baby in the family we will definitely be visiting frequently.

Love this little hidden gem park place! Very relaxing and beautiful scenery surrounding the area! Perfect spot for pics or picnic w the fam or just to get out of the city environment for a while! A must see for sure!!!

I let it go down there and just watch the boats and the bar just go by it's very relaxing very private

I love this park. It is the BEST for walking when you want to do some serious steps... nice long stretch of tranquility... none of that round and round the same track over and over. Great experience.
