J & W Nursery - Evening Shade, AR

Extremely helpful group!! Drove from Alton, MO to buy from them. Lady we dealt with was very kind, patient and helpful! I emailed them prior to the trip to ensure they had what we needed and they were quick to respond and communicated clearly. Prices were very reasonable. 5 stars and I'd for sure buy from them again.

First time visiting today. The young lady, (sadly, I didn't get her name), was super friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection at reasonable prices. Plants are obviously loved and cared for. Highly recommend, we'll be back!

Competitive pricing and knowledgeable staff make for an enjoyable experience and worth the drive.

UPDATE: I honestly did not want to give this place a less than great review because their plants were very beautiful and well cared for. The owner was very nice while I was paying and I am very pleased with my plants. I have updated the amount of stars I originally gave because I truly did like this nursery/greenhouse. I will absolutely be returning. And I think it is a wonderful thing to let an Autistic person work. Thank you to the owner for the reply and the explanation. I apologize for seeming rude in my original review. BTW... they also have a GREAT selection of all types of plants, trees, ornamental grasses, roses, etc. VERY beautiful roses that look so healthy! I would have bought one if I didn't live in an apartment.

Very nice plants and reasonable prices on most things. Plenty of people working there but not one person asked if I needed any help or had any questions. I am disabled and had a walker and had to carry what I got and maneuver my walker to the building to pay... without falling in ther process. The lady did not ask if I needed help getting my things to my vehicle until I made a comment about hoping I didn't drop anything. I would have given this place 4 or even 5 stars had anyone working there offered any help.

Great Selection, very knowledgeable

I love J and W nursery. Staff is friendly. There are signs on almost all of the plants with descriptions and pictures. They even hand out printed papers explaining how to plant and care for the different varieties of plants. Prices are unbeatable.

Very knowledgeable about their plants and which are great for bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. They are even open during the winter. A variety of trees, flowers, shrubs, grape vines, etc.

Very friendly and helpful with a great selection of fruit trees and other trees. She had more fruit trees and there were muscadine, grape an Blackberrys there😁
