Bring a sense of humor and open mind. These people are real in a town of entitled youth and may come off a little rough to the thin skins. Started getting haircuts there in about 2009 while getting educated. Eric likes to give his own type of test to newcomers. Recently as I return for visits and the occasional haircut I notice some stragglers afterward but generally good. Seen older women there in the past but I could imagine why the place throws younger belles for a loop. The items are gifts and that man doesn’t need your $. As far as old kooks go, he’s a good one.

It's hilarious to read the bad reviews on here about Eric. This guy has cut hair for Presidents, the US Secratary of State, Attorney Generals, you name a historical or famous figure that has come through the university in the past 40 years and Eric Cut his hair. Not to mention God only knows how much he's worth so he's not worried about your feelings or the bad review you write on yelp. Grow a pair and stop getting your feelings hurt. Eric tells you how it is and gives the best hair cut in town.

Eric gives a great haircut, but if you are thin skinned or don't like to be entertained, don't go. He has been cutting my hair for decades.

Long-time customer. Good haircut for $20. Eric has his moods, I don't mind. Sometimes he talks a leg off you, sometimes he's silent. Mrs. Lloyd is very nice.

Great haircut, most of the time his story's are pretty interesting. I wouldn't go here if you're in a rush but if you've got a minute he's the place to go.

Does Eric throw around the N word as much as he used to do in the 90's? He was a slumlord then, and he would force tenants to live with no heat in the winter.

Saw a run down building right by the tattoo shop. Didn’t think of anything when parking. Got my car towed. Maybe update your building instead of having it look like an abandoned POS 😂

A complete nightmare. I support local business and often stop for lunch to explore different parts of the city. When I stopped to browse this area of downtown Fayetteville, I met the two wicked people that run this business. Unfortunately for me, their reputation did not precede them so I was caught off guard. The inside of the shop looks like someone with a hoarding issue has set up camp for 50 years. There was nothing inside that looked remotely like a salon or barbershop except for two swivel chairs. The owner, Eric Lloyd, and his wife were sitting in them and staring at a television positioned so they were able to peek through the window as well so they can notoriously tow unsuspecting people who park in their always empty parking lot in busy downtown Fayetteville, where parking is scarce. They ignored most of my questions about their services and stared out the window and glared at me. They are known to harass their own clients. Give your business to people who better the community. This is a public embarrassment.
