Great food, friendly folks

Great first time for us. Ate catfish, hamburger and beans and cornbread. Good country cooking. Saw this group of regulars pause to pray before diging in. Great to live in a small town.

I had read good reviews of Shorty’s catfish. They were right! The fish was well cooked and tasty, and none of the pieces I ate had any of the musky gray material often present. Hush puppies were deliciously peppery, and the finely textured slaw was well seasoned. The fries were okay—just fries.

Great food very friendly owners and workers. We eat there regularly.

Food is outstanding, I have never eaten anything there that wasn't delicious.

Love this lady. She knows how to cook everything and she loves making the sweet stuff. She always has an eclectic artful variety of pies, macaroons, chocolate covered strawberries, mini carrot cakes...always something different and unique and never disappoints.
Makes a mean cheeseburger and chicken fried steak, too...and don't get me started on her catfish platter with all the fixings including home canned pickles and sweet Vidalia onion slices. Her tarter sauce may very well be home made a well. It is the best around! And her cole slaw! Well, you just gotta go see for yourself!
Can't say nothing but good things about Miss Terry's food. It is all delish and she will make it just how you like it and do it with lots of love.
We also share the same name, so she holds a special place in my heart. Thank you, ma'am!

The cleanest restaurant I have ever ate in. Great food, especially the fish and chicken nachos. Also great service. Last health Dept. rating was 100.!!!!
That is very unusual to get 100 on this. You just have to go see. I highly recommend this restaurant. Family oriented also.

I love Mom & Pop businesses. This one was way better than I expected. Pretty sure Shorty is about the same height as me, so that made it even better! We may be short in stature, but we make up for our height with the love & care we give others.

We had a double burger with bacon and a BBQ sandwich with onion rings. We thought it was very good food. Look forward to going back.

Good Grilled Shrimp always perfect every time you bite into one. The hushpuppies are nice they are crispy on the outside but on the inside they are nice and soft.

Food is absolutely delicious! Home cooking better than Mom’s.
Prices are VERY affordable.
