Amazing store and owner! Went in today to buy a leather cuff bracelet and Stealth explained that anything could be customized. The imagination is the limit! I ended up with the most beautiful, custom, one of a kind leather cuff. And to watch Stealth create my piece, from start to finish, from the first cut of leather to the final oiling of the product was absolutely fascinating. This was the BEST and only souvenir I bought at Tombstone and it was worth every moment and penny. Highly recommend popping into this storefront and checking things out. Thank you Stealth! Really enjoyed talking to you today and grateful that your path led you to this venture!

Second time reviewing and another 5 stars. After having a cuff made for myself a while back, we decided to return to Tombstone so that my husband could have one made for himself. I highly recommend spending the time with Stealth and having him create a one of a kind piece! Watching the process is fascinating, the one-to-one attention is unlike service anywhere else, and walking away with a unique, custom item is a spectacular experience!

Stopped into to check out leather wrist bands. Met Stealth and felt like I made a friend forever. What a cool dude he is and very customer focused. He made me a custom leather band that I'll enjoy for a long time. He also made certain he would repair if any issue occurred. He also game me a copy of his CD, and demonstrated his prowess on the flute. Wow!! He helped make my experience to Tombstone quite memorable.

My husband had a private lesson today. We were browsing the leather bracelets and Stealth the owner helped my husband make one for me! Great place, friendly owner and handcrafted beautiful leather.

I wanted a hat band for one of my hats, and Stealth simply said "Let's do it, Brother!". Hung out for a few hours building and collaborating. Nailed it! I hope Stealth knows what he got into, because I've got more projects for him! Great guy, and even better craxtsman!

J. "Stealth" Connell went out of his way to help us out with the leather, beads, spacers, and even punched out some leather washers to repair my trinity knot necklace. He took time to talk with us and we could tell that he loves his work and is a gifted artisan. We are so glad we happened to walk into his shop in Tombston. What a wonderful experience it turned out to be.

I don't know if it's the Cuff or it's me (maybe both), but we both look good next to this Pretty Little Filly. LOL! :D Seriously though, Stealth's craftsmanship is evident. You can feel the quality as soon as it is in your hands let alone seeing these beautiful pieces he creates. I have received so many compliments on this awesome Cuff. He has many leather good ranging from bands to holsters. Make sure to stop by when ever near Tombstone!!

I want to share my experiences from a couple years ago because Southwest Powerwear and owner Stealth have impacted me for life:

A trip I expected to be super quick turned into an all afternoon/evening affair. Because that’s how it goes when you tap into a vibration that just flows & grows effortlessly. It’s intoxicating. The first shop I walked into, I stayed for 2 hours. I met Stealth, who makes gorgeous leather goods, sells locally-made native flutes, & is a flutist himself. He encouraged me to play my way through the wall of flutes, set me up with a mic + amp, & let me have my time with each piece. The chills I got from each one—I cannot explain. Wow. Some may not know that I played the flute & piccolo for many years, but I haven’t practiced in quite a while. I’ve come to really vibe with the native flutes, I actually have a small one at home that my grandmother graciously gifted to me. Even after years of performing, I still get stage fright. But today in Stealth’s shop, with people floating by & stopping in to listen, I felt both grounded & light. I was seen & heard in a way I was ready for. I felt so free & connected to the instruments, the frequencies, the people, the town. And that’s basically the way the whole day went. Every person I met, the energy just rocked & rolled. Our conversations were full of life & synchronicity. No over-explaining, no barriers in our communication, we just got each other. Can you imagine? I left after dark, fully floating, & wishing I could call my mom to tell her about my day. But she already knows, I felt her there. Needless to say, my flute found me today & I can’t wait to share her magic. Stealth also graciously created a custom bracelet for my baby nephew, keeping his shop open extra late just to make sure I was leaving with something special. Stealth, Todd, Lisa, & several others whose names I didn’t even gather.. and to Tombstone.. Thank you. I’ll be back soon for more.

Officially POWERED UP thanks to this dear soul. Words are not enough 🤍

Custom bracelet made by the one & only Stealth Connell. If you’re ever in southeastern Arizona, do yourself the service of visiting this man at Southwest Powerwear in Tombstone. His light is one of a kind, and oh so bright.

Native American symbols:

Medicine man’s eye: wise, watchful

I still wear this bracelet every day and just finished another session of playing my beautiful flute. Thank you to Stealth, Southwest Powerwear, and the state of Arizona. You changed me.

Add me to the list of totally satisfied customers. I walked into SouthWest P.W on a Saturday afternoon at 1:00. Explained to Stealth what I wanted. For two plus hours together, we designed and created a one of a kind wearable work of art 🎨 !!! You want some custom leather work? See Stealth!

I ALWAYS take time out of my yearly visits to Arizona and visit Stealth at Southwest Power Wear. All of my purchases (leather wristbands) are made of high quality leather. In addition to his designs, which are exceptional, you've the option to design your own! Hundreds of adornments from which to choose. Believe me, his wristbands are attention grabbers! You have a quality item that's hand made by the gentleman you see, how great is that? Highly recommend that you stop by and see Stealth, no sales pressure and products that are superior to ALL others that I've seen.

This is my fourth leather item from Jay at SouthWest PowerWear and I love it. I asked Jay for a piece that had New Mexico, Arizona, Indian, and Copper industry themes as its features. He came through with an exquisite cuff which I proudly wear. In addition, He has also made me two knife sheaths in the past and both are in reference to the motorcycle brands which I ride. Jay is a motorcyclist himself and a historian of all things western. Jay can make anything you desire out of leather that will exceed your expectations and make your experience an enjoyable one with his conversations about people, motorcycles, history, and Tombstone itself.

When visiting Tombstone a Must Visit store has to be SouthWest PowerWear for some authentic and custom made leather and super cool and beautiful sounding flutes. The proprietor, Jay “Stealth” can make you a beautiful, custom made leather piece and when he’s done he can serenade you with his wonderful flute playing. He also has some cool looking blades, and he can customize the sheath for you while you wait. You will enjoy meeting Jay and shopping at his store!

This place is something else, never would I have ever thought about owning a Flute. I always admired the beautiful music coming from them but never thought about actually playing one myself. Thanks to Stealth,he approached me in a way that i knew he didn't care if he sold me a flute or not, he just wanted to spread the music with me. I must say just to hear him play that flute and actually have me play one with him was amazing. I had to purchase one instantly,Ever since that day I've been attached to my flute it calms me, helps me find peace within myself. I had a good time visiting tombstone but stoping at Southwest Power Wear was probably the best experience I have ever had. 🙏

Love this shop. Great dude - Spent time here with my Son. Owner is a true craftsman and conversationalist. Good man. Made me the most prized possession of personal jewelry I ever owned. Owner chats with you, finds pieces that tell a story, then crafts it for you while you chat. Great on the pan flute. Good man. Good soul.
