Olde Forge Restaurant

We stopped here for dinner before going to a Tanglewood concert and were delighted with our choice. Great tasting tavern food with great service.

The "Don't Double Dip", duo of Buffalo chicken Dip and spinach artichoke dip was a delightful "something different" appetizer. I would come back here just for this, but it isn't the only reason.

There is a great kids menu too. We had the kids grilled cheese, which was served on a fresh bread not the usual cheap white bread, and what looked like brie cheese (though i didn’t get a sample). It was toasted to a kids delightful golden color. A generous portion of fries was included.

The Buffalo wings did not disappoint. They come in several varieties and were all delicious.

The Shepard pie was also good, though more on the mild side than savory. A classic simple dish.

Great atmosphere. Old dark wood bar with many pewter mugs hanging above it adding a nice historic vibe. Mugs are part of their "beer club" which is fun if you can go here regularly to enjoy a brew. Good food. Excellent craft beers on tap. Great service. T-shirts available.

Had the chicken wings with the original sauce and boneless chicken tenders with sesame ginger sauce both were delicious, we also had the French onion soup with extra cheese. Best in western Ma. We sat in the bar area and the staff were very attentive and courteous. Thanks for a great lunch! They also have a new outdoor deck and new dining area. Thanks Kirk and Glenn for everything.

What's great experience in this beautiful area. Food was broad complete with a burger was all that. But.... The beer selection was quite fantastic and infinitely broad. A wide base of internation and domestic cans and bottles were backed by a solid selection of fresh regional and beyond drafts.

On our way home from Boston we stumbled upon this hidden gem. The decor was like you were in a German pub. The food was so good we had the shepherd's pie and was lip smacking good. Service was fast, friendly, and helpful.

Great meal, great drinks, great staff. Menu is long and varied, something for everyone. Endless beer list and good wine choices.

The butternut squash quesadilla is a great choice.

French onion soup and a gourmet grilled cheese with spinach, tomato and bacon.

Old forge restaurant is one of my all-time favorite places to eat. Beautiful wood interior, friendly staff, amazing food.

They get VERY busy so plan your visit accordingly! I attempted eating here twice before I finally got the privilege.

Limited parking on a busy road. Be careful when you leave.

Always a gem. I used to live in the area and would go regularly. Recently stopped by on a trip to NH and picked up a catering order of wings. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating!!

I've eaten wings at restaurants up and down the East Coast, and the Old Forge wings are some of the best I've had. Particularly the Buff Orpington wings tossed in a unique and delicious curry-based sauce.

I first came to the Old Forge in 2000 and was blown away by their wings. They're still delicious now, almost 20 years later. The appetizers we tried recently - potato skins and fried calamari - were also very good.

The beer selection is extensive, with over a dozen beers on tap and hundreds in bottles, and features a good mix of imported and domestic craft beer.

I do wish that the tap list had more than just the name of each beer. Some description of the beer - style, flavor profile, origin - would be very helpful. I was also disappointed to learn that bar would not give out a taster of any higher alcohol beers - given that the taster is a tiny 0.5 oz serving, it seems needlessly stingy.

Fantastic place. The beer selection is amazing and food (particularly the Austrian Sandwich) is on point.

Ordered the chicken picatta it was fantastic. Wasn't too salty and pasta was cooked perfect. Great atmosphere. Other dishes were very good as well.

Wonderful laid back atmosphere with great food and excellent service. Will definitely be a repeat visitor!

Got the roasted seafood. This was the bomb. Great meal. Roasted in a togo plate. Soaked up the juice with the perfectly toasted toast. I would eat this every day. Too bad only went here on our last day of vacation. Drove by it everyday and noted always people were waiting to get in. Today was our day. Glad I stopped in. Wife got the Mac and cheese and didn't like it. Inconsistent cooking of the macaroni as well as the sauce inside of it. Order the roasted seafood. Trust me.

The Old Forge is a really cool place. Very good food from a broad menu and an amazing beer list. Very friendly staff. I will definitely be back soon.

The food is absolutely amazing! Love the atmosphere! Will be our "must go to place" when we are back in the area.

FYI if you have a Pine Allergy the back room walls are fresh pine boards. Beautiful and smells of fresh pine for those not allergic to enjoy.

That was my one and only hardship.
The atmosphere, food, beer and cider options were great. Nice place for small gatherings or large gatherings call ahead.

Love this place! Best wings in the Berkshires for sure. Wonderful menu and specials, great cocktails and beer selection, top notch service. Our go-to spot whenever in town.

Who ever gave this restaurant less than 5 stars is smoking something. The menu is amazing, the wings are the best we've ever had. great brisket sandwich, onion chips, and a fine selection of local beers on tap. Outdoor patio is relaxing and the servers were really nice and chill. Perfect vacation spot. We will be back.

Stopped on the way back from Vermont, unique place
Old world pub feel inside the lower level was spacious and remodeled.
There is parking in back with a rear entrance and parking up top with a frt entrance.
Menu was simple with all the favorites.
I got shepherds pie and wings which where fantastic, and my wife got a salad
They offer specialty cocktails as well.
Definitely worth the stop.
Service was friendly and quick.
Restrooms clean .
