Sagebrush Inn

From the hitching post, designated parking in front of our room, to the bathroom barn door…we loved this hotel. Our room (Doc Holiday) was spacious, cozy, and perfectly cleaned. It had exactly what we needed…fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom has been newly renovated and was very nice. The entire room looked newly renovated. It is an air conditioned room with a ceiling fan as well. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The area is quiet and peaceful, but still close to Allen Street. The history of this motel is what made our stay even more enjoyable. We met the front desk staff, and were greeted with fresh baked cookies and a smile…very friendly and helpful too. Housekeeping checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

We will return!!

I meant to post this two months ago. We like to come visit Tombstone at least once a year. This was the first time we've stayed here, and we will probably stay here again! The lady at the front desk was very nice. We booked two rooms back in December and the rooms were great. One room had been recently remodeled and was perfect for our daughter. We stayed in the Maureen O'Hara room and we liked history of it. ( it's the only room that has a tub) One thing that we thought was nice was that the owner left Christmas Cards in our rooms welcoming us to her hotel. I thought that was such a personal touch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Tombstone.

Tombstone is like my Disneyland. Even my kids love it! We go once every other year or so. We stayed here on our last trip. We had the Mustang room. It was very clean, quaint and had so much character! The check is was so simple and so was checkout. The staff is on call 24/7 and I absolutely love that I can just call anytime and they are there. It's literally within walking distance to EVERYTHING!
So I read that the room was haunted. Sadly we didn't experience anything but an amazing vacation. Would have been kind of cool if we had, so I guess we will just have to stay again and find out. Looking forward to visiting again.

We weren't sure what to expect because it was our first time staying in a small town, but were pleasantly surprised when we checked in. We stayed in the Josie room, it was spacious, very clean, comfortable king size bed, very nice shower and bathroom and the staff was very friendly and gave us freshly baked cookies and the dvd Tombstone to watch, since i had never seen the movie. Within walking distance to Allen Street. Would definitely stay here again!

Great small town hotel. Great small town hospitality. Limited office hours still allowed for an easy check-in. Great instructions on the self check-in. Comfortable environment. Upgrade to a higher level room even though we didn't sign up for it.

Tombstone is my absolute favorite place in the world. I go as much as I can. We stayed at this amazing Inn last time we went and we will definitely stay again. The staff was so accommodating and very easy to contact. They were literally a phone call away. The rooms are perfect for Tombstone. Some places have been so restored and renovated that they feel like you're in a basic motel but not this place. The rooms here are rustic and scream southwest! Every room has a different tombstone theme. The one we stayed in was amazing! We absolutely loved it. The great thing about it is they have instructions for everything. If you have a question just look up and there is a paper that tells you. I like that the most since there is no guessing.
When we got there we saw an older gentleman reading in the patio area. It was quiet and peaceful and when the sun rises it's absolutely beautiful but not as beautiful as the sunset which you can see both from the positioning of the Inn.

We decided to stay one night here and it was very nice. A great price and overall an amazing vibe. Our room was gorgeous and exactly what we needed for a full nights rest after wondering around tombstone.
😉there were mentions of fresh baked cookies on the website but we did not receive any lol. That’s perfectly fine we didn’t get any. 😂
Only downside is our room was so cold. Even with the heater on it was like the bed was too far for the heat to reach. We made due! And the bathroom was freezing unless the shower was on.
Also if the shower was on and someone flushed the toilet the toilet wouldn’t flush. And if you flushed the toilet right after a shower the shower would squirt out a bunch of water. So that was a little weird!
Otherwise this place was amazing, very well decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable!
The check in and check out process was super easy. We reserved online, checked in at 4pm with a very nice lady, and the check out is easy you just drop your key off at the office.
The history behind this motel is amazing! To hear that John Wayne and Miss O’Hara from McClintock stayed here is so cool!

Great location. Walking distance to everything. Room was quaint but nice. Service was fantastic. Bed was comfortable. I couldn't ask for more.. well mabey a table with chairs.

Within walking distance of Fremont street where all the action is. Quiet area to return to. Clean and updated rooms but still has the decor of the period. We booked the Doc Holiday room and it was excellent.

This a quaint historic hotel. The rooms are small but have all you need. Most importantly they are clean. The hotel is located just a few blocks from Allen Street. We will definitely be staying here again.

We are so grateful for coming to Sagebrush Inn, we decided to come here for our 9 year anniversary. I am so thankful they made accommodations for us with roses,chocolate, and wine. We appreciate everyone at Sagebrush Inn. Well, be definitely coming back. So peaceful and tranquil. I highly recommend coming here and enjoying the time so many things to do. Discover the history of Tombstone and enjoy everything this town has to offer.

We loved it...It's a laid back, remote Arizona hotel with plenty of history of it's own within easy walking distance of historic downtown Tombstone. Not one of the more "cookie-cutter" types of modern hotels, it's a really well cared for property with local owners putting in the time to renovate and maintain, with plenty of amenities and an Arizona desert charm. Having returned from our trip we've already recommended it to a couple of friends who are looking to visit Tombstone, and should we ever visit again we'll be booking at the Sagebrush Inn again.

I had a great experience with Sagebrush. I booked my room months in advance. I didn't originally pre pay, but decided to do so after my booking. They don't always answer their phone right away but they do call you back by the end of the business day.

They had great customer service and were very friendly.

My husband and I loved our room. It was clean, cute, simple and had great air conditioning! It also came with freshly baked cookies! We had a great view of the mountains from our room. The sunrises were spectacular.

I would recommend they cut back some of the bushes behind the rooms to make the view even better for their guests. Also the bathroom was small but sufficient for our needs. I would only suggest them add some corner shelves so we could put our supplies as we got ready for the day.

Tombstone is an old town with laid back locals. It's definitely a change of pace from the bustle of the city. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very clean rooms! Our room was newly renovated and very comfortable. The inn sits back a few blocks from the shops and restaurants which makes it very peaceful after a long day. But, it is still very much in walking distance to everything. We will definitely stay here again!

Loved our room at Sagebrush Inn. Bed was very comfortable. WiFi was not very good.

If you like that fancy stuff then don't come down here but it was fantastic. Very rustic , we stayed in the John Wayne excellent . We will return had a great time in tombstone .Wished

Beautiful little motel, with country charm right down to the hitching post at front door. Rooms are small but well-maintained, looked after, and very clean. Definitely worth the stay.

The manager/owner was very friendly. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. Though the hotel is dated, don't judge it. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the location is very quiet.

Sure it had some quirks but to me the experience and staff made up for any flaws. The only thing I'd say, I definitely wish I could have stayed longer!

Great place to stay! Good location, only a few mins from everything, definitely within walking distance. Picture windows with amazing views. Comfortable and lovely rustic decor, loved it! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Super place overall.
