Fantastic place to stay in the tombstone area. We really enjoyed our stay with cowboy Doug on his working equestrian ranch. Definitely quite. Fhu sites no other amenities but I would certainly recommend that you stay here. Felt very welcome and excited to be able to get to pet the horses 🐎

Cowboy Doug was Great! Everything explained up front! Then anything you needed was accommodated!! Arena to ride in, land for a leisure ride and friendly atmosphere everywhere! Reasonable rates with peaceful surroundings!! Very close to Tombstone and all the historical sites ! Stayed in out living quarters and it was a quiet place!

What a great place! Scenic. Awesome sunrises and sunsets! We had a hook-up. Everything worked great. Conveniently located. We were in close proximity to lots of our day-trip destinations. Cowboy Doug is super personable! Highly recommend!!!!

This is not a fancy RV park. It's basically a dirt parking lot with hookups. It's a little dusty, but you are in the desert! But they are level sites and easy to get into (all pull throughs). And the view is amazing. The sites are set up in twos, with the hookups in the middle. So everyone is opposite each other. While they are somewhat close together in the back, it feels like you have more space than in some campgrounds when you go out your front door. And did I mention the view? You can see all the way to Sierra Vista across the valley. And Tombstone up on the hill, It's a short drive to all the sites, including Tombstone, BIsbee and the Kartchner Caverns (which sadly we missed as they were completely booked the day we wanted to go). There is a little bit of road noise from the nearby highway, but nothing too bad, and very quite at night. You can even hear the coyotes calling at times.

While most people staying here had live-in horse trailers, we didn't, though it makes you wish you did. Nothing like waking up in the morning to the sight of neighbours saddling their horses.

But the real benefit of this campground is the owner, Cowboy Doug. He's a very sweet, country gentleman that will take you back in time to a more gentle era. He's very proud of the area and happy to give you recommendations. He even met us for an evening of music and dancing at the local watering hole in Tombstone (Big Nose Kate's). He's also a dancing instructor (as he's happy to tell you) and will provide directions on the dance floor. He also took several of the guests on trail rides while we were there. And though we didn't have horses, he made a point of inviting us to the ride's destination to join them for a drink. This campsite is more like staying at a friend's house. I would definitely stay here again (as long as Cowboy Doug will let us!).

We stayed in an Rv spot with a great view. The accommodations for our horses were wonderful. We have stayed here many times now and always look forward to it.

This is a great RV park & livery. Well run, clean, good prices and cowboy Doug and his trusty sidekick Angela are awesome. We had a great time. Not crowded like the other RV parks this place is a gem of a find. Wide open, spacious with a gorgeous mountain backdrop and beautiful sunsets. I can’t recommend this place enough! We made friends with all the horse owners and loved visiting the horses (with the owners permission of course) several times a day. You don’t have to have horses to stay here. This is a wonderful place just minutes from downtown Tombstone.

Imagine you had a family friend who owned a giant ranch and decided to use part of it for people to stay on with their RVs including stables for horses. That is essentially what this place is, and for us it was awesome. The proprietor "Cowboy Doug" and his assistant Angela where just great start to finish. Don't expect your typical RV park experience with customer service agents answering phones and uniformed security driving around. This is much more like a family property that they allow people to stay on for a reasonable price. Very refreshing.

We visited with four adults, three children and two dogs. We rented an RV spot and one of the rooms available for rent. Even though we arrived late at night they were very welcoming. The rooms are clean, cozy and quaint, not sterile and standardized like something you would experience at a chain hotel. The night sky here is absolutely beautiful. It is the lowest light pollution area I have experienced in a long time and I suspect with a few more lights off I would have been able to see the milky way.

If you are more of a city slicker type and typically stay at higher end hotels, quite frankly this may not be the place for you. I don't think you will be disappointed with the customer service, but it is not really set up for a high-end city hotel kind of experience. This is a great place to stay if you are headed to Tombstone for a visit.

Tips: The RV spaces are not perfectly level, you may need to bring some pads to go under your levelers. Bring cash. Call about a week before your arrival just to button everything up. Likely full through the end of March due to snowbirds. Leave extra time! Everything is a bit slower pace out here, don't rush it like we did and regret it.

Could not ask for a better location or ammenities! Clean, well appointed, excellent views, service...can't say enough about how well we were treated here. Large arena and round pen for guest use, corrals, feed buckets, water troughs, porta-potties were pristine! Doug and Angela were AMAZING. Trails from ranch were spectacular and bunkhouse was comfortable, clean and well appointed. RV hook-ups were roomy, clean and quiet. Great stay, and we highly recommend Tombstone Livery Stable & RV with special thanks to Doug and Angela! (On a side note: when Doug tells you he can't recommend riding into Tombstone, please believe him. My dead broke, posse, wagon train, trail and ranch experienced, horses Did Not like the town...)

Cowboy Doug is so friendly...An accommodating, and helpful host. tombstone livery really takes you back to the old West. The buildings on site bring you right into the 1880s. The ranch is clean and roomy. From here we rode right into old Tombstone. The next day we rode to the San Pedro river. If you're not here with your horses there is so much to see and do in the area.

We spent a week at the Tombstone Livery during the Bordertown SASS shoot. Cowboy Doug was our host and he was welcoming and gracious. We had a great time and plan on going back next year.

This is possibly the best RV park near Tombstone. Super clean and the owner is extremely helpful. The views and night stars to gaze at is breathtaking. I'd give it 10 stars if there were 10 to give.

Love this place! Bring your trailer, your horses and your dogs. Stay in your trailer or rent a cabin. Tons of trails to ride or ride into Tombstone down the street where Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday and the gang rode, walked and died.
