Spirit Mountain Animal Hospital:Anita Greene, DVM

My dog, Peanut had an emergency where he tore a ligament in his left hind leg on a Thursday night. I called all of the vet hospitals in Bullhead city, Kingman, and Las Vegas and no one returned my call the only one that returned my call. The following morning was Spirit Mountain Animal hospital and Bullhead City. I was able to get my Peanut in on a sit and wait basis and Dr. Greene attended to his needs. They took x-rays bloodwork because he has intestinal issues and believe it or not the cost was not as expensive as other hospitals in the past. I would recommend your pets for any medical or emergency needs to go to Spirit Mountain and have Dr. Greene take care of your loved ones. The staff is very nice and kind and I appreciate them calling me first thing in the morning on Friday as I was so worried because he cried all night long. they have him on antibiotics, vomiting, medication, and pain medication. He is doing better and again I would recommend you take your fur babies to Spirit Mountain for any emergency or regular treatments. Thank you Dr. Greene for being there you and your staff for my 11-year-old Carin terrier, Peanut.

I found the staff friendly and very knowledgeable. They were very gentle with my fur babies. I felt no anxiety at all leaving my fur babies with them for their checkup. The staff is very Covid-19 conscious, so you will have to wait in your car for them to come and get you for both drop off and pick up. You will have to follow a link sent to your smartphone to pay your bill. This is very health conscious and in your best interest. It was very easy to do. If you have reservations regarding paying in this fashion I suggest you find another vet.

They were all so great with my little girl they made her feel so much better and I love taking her there

Friendly and efficient.

They were extremely busy the day I was in. But at the same time I think they should have had alot more compassion for people.
The front desk help was not overly friendly.
I do appreciate that they were able to get me in the same day

I'm glad they were able to get me in quicker than most vets in Bullhead City. Most aren't accepting animals at all or it takes 8 months to get in. But then they are the only one you can get into. My dog needed to have a small tumor removed. It costed over $2,000 for everything. I had to go to California where this great man. He chooses to provide the highest quality veterinary medical and surgical care — at an affordable price — rather than retire since he's super old.

I got it all figured out for half the price. Probably even better than that.... Even with the gas it was way more affordable. Being that they are the only one that you can get into just feels like they're overcharging because they know they're the only one.

Referred to as "Old-School" by another vet, the technique used in pain management on our kitten after major surgery (the manner in which the surgery was done also had been referred to as "old-school"), and even after a 2nd visit, left her in such pain and suffering, to the point that it did not allow tissue to properly heal. This eventually left us with thousands of dollars in charges for follow-up care and repair surgery at other facilities.
If this is a concern to you, my advice would be to go elsewhere. There are a lot of superior, state-of-the-art facilities out there. After all, this is 2016 ... not 1980.

They wanted me to wait for 3 weeks to bring my dog in. Could wait. Dog winding up dying. Couldn't find one opened, but at least the others would have taken in next day.
