The Cove Bar & Lounge

This is a classy lounge, with a scenic view of the river. A good place to meet people. They have bar sitting, table sitting, or go down stairs to the couch sitting. This place is good to grabs drinks, some appetizers to snack on while you chat it up with your friends. I would definitely take a date here. Drinks look really fancy, and taste even better. I paid more for drinks of a lesser quality other places. This place will not break the bank. I enjoy the raspberry lemon drop, and the Calamari.

Our favorite bar at the Aquarius. Non smoking, views of the Colorado River from either the bar or the lounge area next to the bar. Bartenders and their ‘back ups’ are consistently friendly and responsive. Our favorite Bartender at The Cove is Chad. The food menu is limited but with good selections.

Both the bar area and lower lounge area have tables and tables for either couples or groups. The waitresses and waiters are responsive and food is served in a reasonable amount of time, of course depending on numbers of guests and how busy they are.

Chad is a long-time Bartender at the Aquarius and is quite talented in preparing specialty drinks. Our favorite is a ‘Mudslide,’ complete with chocolate designs in the inside of the glass.

The video poker machines can run ‘hot and cold,’ but on more than one occasion we’ve watched or experienced some pretty good payouts at this bar. Note that The Cove Bar & Lounge closes at 9:00 PM weekdays, but may stay open a bit longer if there are customers who arrive near closing time.

Food is good. We did a ladies weekend get away in Laughlin.

Hands down the best part of our trip. The view, drinks were delicious, and the service was amazing. So friendly and nice. When you go on vacation and need peace you will find it right here.

I am really surprised at the other reviews on here. We went in at about 3 pm and sat at a high-top table with a river view. Our server was really friendly and provided great service. The blueberry peach mojitos were PHENOMENAL. They serve a complimentary basket of chips (which really seem fresh cooked but I’m not sure) with a side of southwest ranch; DELICIOUS.

We shared the surf and turf skewers which were absolutely delicious and cooked PERFECTLY. We also had the stuffed mushrooms which were good although just average and not something I would order again. We thought it was reasonably priced relative to the area.

Just wanted to say thank you to Crystal for her wonderful service. We enjoy seeing her when we come in for cocktails and dinner. She works hard and I can see she loves her job. Thank you.

Mary and the other servers at the cove bar went above and beyond to make our stay fun. She makes the best dirty Martin 🍸 the shrimp cocktail was awesome. We will definitely be back.

Great chill place to sit, grab some food/drinks and take a break from gambling while you watch the river and sun setting on the Arizona mountains.

Always a great place to jump into to grab a bite to eat. Sometimes they close to early. Wish they had longer hours

This is a beautiful place to get a drink. Try the naked margarita and the shrimp scampi tostini. Prices are great for such a great view.

Best bartender Mary, best dirty martini

Overall we enjoyed our few hours here people watching from the corner couch. My wife and I stopped in here a couple weeks ago for lunch but they don't serve food till 3 so we stuck around. The drinks are a little pricey but I thought the pizza was a good value although it took forever to get. I saw 3 other pepperoni pizzas come out before my shortrib, onion and mushroom to guests who got in after us. I was told the shortrib, onion and mushroom always takes longer. I would have ordered the pepperoni but was told that no additional toppings can be added. The pizza was mostly onions and mushrooms with very little shortrib. Even so, it was pretty large with a good crust and plenty of cheese and tasted good when I got a bite with shortrib. Next time I'll stick to the pepperoni though. The bartenders cold use some people skills and consistency in pouring but our waiter was friendly and attentive. This is beginning to sound like a 3 star review but it was such a comfortable place to just sit and chill, meet some very friendly locals and enjoy ourselves so I can't go that low.

Be warned! They put soda water in an old fashioned and they skimp on the booze! It was terrible.

Bourbon, sugar, bitters, orange peel and a filthy cherry. That's an old fashioned. NO SODA WATER! The place looks nice and service was a touch slow but it was the off season and maybe they were short staffed or training new people. The gf liked her martinis though. But she likes sweet drinks.
