Wanted a $2500 retainer on a divorce

I've dealt with several attorneys throughout my life, and Pat Flaherty is the WORST. He represented my dad in a custody suit involving me (a minor at the time). I was tricked into going to his office, where he OPENLY lied about what I said to the judge. He took my words, and flipped them, then acted like I was mentally incompetent when I attempted to speak for myself. Thank God I had my Guardian Ad Litem to speak for me. Ethically, this man is garbage. He showed up stating the wrong names on occasion, clearly not all there. Very unprepared in court, resorting to lies and deceit of a CHILD. Highly unprofessional, unethical, disgusting excuse of a human. 100% owes me a sincere apology.

This guy is a joke. Shows up for court not knowing what's going on and there is a huge lack of communication in the office. He's a great salesman though. Only once you hand him a retainer you might as well start looking for a new attorney. Don't be fooled by the sales pitch like I was.
