I came in via EMS with a fall head first into a huge gun vault with neck down neuropathy and partial paralysis. X-rays of my hands were done because they hurt from the fall, they splinted them and sent me home with 3 days pain meds. No CT done, 10 days later and 2 hospitals later I landed back here!! The Lord placed wonderful Doctors who knew immediately that I had neuropathy and a CT of the neck was ordered STAT. My C2-C6 were completely compressed into one “mush” compartment, compressing my spinal cord that was causing the neuropathy and paralysis. I was in surgery the next day with a plate and 2 screws and 18 rubber spacers that were replaced because my bone spacers were crushed. It’s sad phenomenal physicians have to correct incompetent “physicians “ work!!
