This review may be outdated, but with the old owners a few years ago, they were nice, the place was clean, and most importantly, if you want to be in the middle of Old Historic Tombstone, this is the place to be. As an historian, I was so excited I couldn't sleep so got up walked a few blocks to be among the ghosts of Tombstone, and went to get a drink at a saloon only to drink with Doc Holliday even in character when he was drunk. An experience of a lifetime that wouldn't have been the same had I stayed in a hotel that wasn't walking distance. With the positive reviews I heard about the new owners and the best location, I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed their November, 5-8 and I honestly loved the stay. Everything was clean very nice and the owner was a very nice and did what ever he could to,make our stay comfortable and affordable. I felt bad because I had the room booked for months and kept calling back with silly request and each and everytime was always greated very nicely and always had my request met by the owner. plus everything in town is within, walking distance.... I,will for sure be back and will recommend it to others....

I am running this place. I started June first. I apologize to folks who have been unhappy. Fact is the appearance is all about experience of old old Tombstone, folks used what they had. We feel fortunate when we have time to clean a carpet. Lol

Clean and comfortable and quiet the operator is very accommodating
This isn’t five star but it’s all one needs to enjoy this town and experience.
I’d stay here again in a heart beat and have for many years prior.
My wife and I love the place. Ample parking and close to downtown.
We even cleaned up after our humvee tour at no extra charge.
Bravo to the energy and manager. We will definitely be back.

Nice, clean, great distance to the old west but a little out dated, dusty, and hot. They had no a/c only swamp cooler. I was so uncomfortably hot.

Wow. It is suuuper dated. No central a/c, only a window unit. Close to things tho...

Recent visit (Nov 2016) After a long drive we were tired and this place looked quaint. It was a hot day so we wanted a room with AC. I paid cash and were shown a room...I saw the AC and waved for my wife to come on. She stepped in and had a fit. We found the bed sagging in the middle with old spring type under the top mattress. The rug was old stained and the overall room was old and dingy. The curtains were moldy and crusty...after 5 minutes of viewing we decided we couldn't stay (afraid of creepy crawlers and basic filth). We were told no refunds (that kind of told me they are used to pass demands, my receipt didn’t say that as the clerk said) we left, leaving our room rent and moved to a motel not so old or unkempt. We’ve travelled all over the US but instead of a rustic taste of the west we were shocked…and we still don’t know why we couldn’t get a refund…we never even placed our luggage inside..Well, I’ll reach out to every organization we are affiliated with and send them this review for others protection. Mold seemed everywhere...if they are upgrading I sure couldn't see it...3.6 stars???? maybe rated only between other Tombstone motels but the two right as you enter on the right might qualfy for a 3 star but not this place!!

By far, the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. Stayed there on 02/27/16. Walked in to the smell of some form of musty mildew that I've never had the displeasure of smelling before. Three massive 8'x8' area rugs covered the floor. I thought that was odd, so I lifted them up to find the WORST looking carpet I'd ever seen. Stains of unknown substances littered the carpet. The smoke detector sat on bathroom sink. The electrical cord for the lamp that happened to work, was wrapped with electrical tape. There were five different mis-matched color towels in the shower. Mildew and soap scum like I'd never seen before covered the shower head and shower floor. There was also a plugin electric heater on the floor to keep you warm. Two OLD tvs. One, just in case you felt the need to watch a VHS tape????? Will NEVER go there again. I can't possibly describe how ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING this place was. I took pics. I wish I could post them on this review.
