Awesome place. Historic building from 1879. Comfy, clean, a block or so from all the fun touristy stuff in Tombstone. Juan was there to check me in, and was super friendly and welcoming. I can't recommend the San Juan House enough.

Got a room in this very historical building. It's old and well used, but if you're staying in Tombstone it's just what you need. Located a block from Allen Street it's within walking distance of the entertainment. Bed was comfy. The air worked and it was a nice place to relax. Would definitely stay here again.

Will never stay there again! They're quick to help you make a reservation. But when it comes to making a cancellation they ignore all attempts to get in touch with them. Big disappointment!

Very affordable and Perfect location. Literally just steps away from all the attractions.
My 14 year old and I stayed in Wyatt Earp room.
It was a cozy set up. Nice kitchenette set up. The manager/ host was really friendly.

For a being built in 1879 it's amazingly well equipped and comfortable. Great wifi, new TVs, mini fridge, coffee maker and very comfy beds. And you simply cannot beat the location, literally cross the street and you are in old Tombstone.

Location is right in the middle of town, walking distance to everything that there is to do and see. Rooms are well over one hundred years old, so you get what you pay for. The basics. The price is low and location is perfect.

I knew the lodging was not going to be 4 Star due to the age of the building, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, the bedding was crisp and new. The bathroom had been remodeled. We stayed in the Doc Holiday and Wyatt Earp rooms. I didn't see or hear any ghosts.

I've only been here for one night and its been great so far. Anne, the host was very helpful to ensure we would be all set when we got here. Check In was extremely easy and the free parking out front is very convenient. I love the decor, views, and location. When staying in a historic town, I want to ensure that I get to personally experience that history so when I read up about this place, I was sold! I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in town

Ps. As for the negative reviews, I have not experienced any of the problems. I'm here in December and the temperature of the room is fine at night, I don't smell cigarettes, the plumbing is normal, yes the shops in the city close kind of early, but thats not the hotels fault, yes the decor is outdated, but shouldn't it be to fit the style of a house built in 1879?!

I was so eager to stay here because of the history and location. However, our A/C was not working properly. They did not have another room for us but Ann, the owner, immediately called the hotel next door and got us situated over there. That is why I’m giving her 5 stars. If we ever come back I want to try to stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. When we arrived around 9pm, it was pouring rain. We hadn't called in but luckily there were rooms available. The manager quickly attended us and double checked to make sure the room was clean before letting us in. She was very friendly! Once she made sure everything was clean, which took like 2 minutes, we got the keys. We stayed in the Charlie Storm room and we loved it. The whole place is quaint and low key. It's the oldest boarding house in Tombstone and is said to be haunted. The room had 2 beds, a heater, wifi, and Netflix. It's within walking distance to the main streets and attractions which was great. When we come back to Tombstone, we will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic!! The first lodging house in Tombstone, built in 1879, has not lost its charm. A block from everything you're in Tombstone for, with gorgeous mountains in one direction, and the late eighteen-hundreds in the other. The room was clean and spacious, and the porch is just so cute and comfortable. Will absolutely stay again. Also... The water pressure is amazing! Highly recommend this quiet spot! Right on Fremont and 5th, you couldn't get a better location!

The owners where so thoughtful and nice. The manager was helpful I could not have had a better stay. The rooms itself was outstanding. The bed blocks the TV, so you can't lay down and watch TV was the only down side. Parking was right up front, very very clean rooms

Absolutely love!! Only thing is the bed is not the best but it's just a walk away from the main street in tombstone. Stayed 3 nights 4 day and it felt more like home then just a room! I would recommend to everyone!!

Dated interior gives a feeling of connection to the past. Our room, #3, was haunted. We had experiences on both nights of our stay.
