Loved our visit here - not only are the peanut products delicious, but the soft serve peanut butter ice cream was amazing! Lots of Carter souvenirs too - a great small town general store feel full of souvenirs. We received fantastic service, as well! Thank you :) You made our day

Plains Peanuts and General Store was the cutest little store that takes you back in time! Lots of cool items such as cans of ‘Billy Beer’ and delicious snacks, especially the ice cream! If you are ever in Plains, Ga I highly recommend visiting this establishment as your won’t be disappointed! The staff are friendly and eager for your business!!!

This cute little general store has delicious fried peanuts and brittle. They also have the best peanut butter ice cream I have ever tasted.

They have a wide variety of t-shirts, souvenirs and of course peanuts. They have plain fried peanuts, and they also have a unique selection of seasoned peanuts as well.

Stop by and say hello to the sweet ladies and grab a cup of ice cream to enjoy as you explore the Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Trail. Buy some peanuts and a t-shirt while you are there. 😁

This is THE store for Plains Georgia. We’ve never had”a peanut” flavor ice cream before and boy, I’ve no idea what I’ve been missing all these years. The offer soft-serve peanut flavor , and chocolate or mixed together. That mix swirls was a game changer. Fantastic ice cream. They also offer local products. Everything to do with president Carter as well. They have a “Mayhaw Jelly” ; a local fruit like a plum with tangy taste. Staff there are incredibly friendly and funny. We had good conversations about town. Love this kind of places. You know people are genuinely nice.

Everything I bought in here is the best version of what it is! Absolutely divine peanut butter, crunchy flavorful fried peanuts, the best and freshest tasting pork rinds ( I tried salt and vinegar as that is my favorite flavour for crisps and I’ve never seen this flavor for pork rinds before). The peanut butter ice cream is a definite must try - so good! We stopped in Plains as it was on our way and we thought the Jimmy Carter museum might be interesting, but I am seriously thinking of driving the 16 hours to go there specifically again just to come to this store to buy more of their excellent products and speak to the welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful people who run the store!

We met the new owners of Plain Peanuts and General Store; they were a delight! The famous Peanut Butter Ice Cream was delicious!

I initially peeled the peanuts pictured in this comment; I never thought you could eat them whole. 🤯🤯🤯 I freakin love these now! I found some similar on Amazon, but they were SUBPAR! The ones here are MUCH better, and that I've cream... 🤤🤤🤤.

Super friendly ladies working there... free samples. Great selection and prices. Lots of varieties of nuts, ice cream and souvenirs. A must stop if you are traveling through Plains!

They have GREAT ice cream and nice store and very nice workers and must see place to go.

They have the best peanut butter ice cream and at a reasonable price! We bought a peanut butter and vanilla swirl and a peanut butter and chocolate swirl, both on cake cones for $2.50 each. The folks working here are very friendly, too!

Stopping here on road trips is a must for the peanut butter (only consists of peanuts and peanut oil without any additives) that is sold in glass Mason jars, peanut butter soft-serve ice cream (souvenir color-changing cups are available), all varieties of roasted peanuts, jams, pickles, souvenir tee shirts and Presidential campaign 1970s items. Take your family’s picture at the life-sized peanut, with their smiling face peering through. The employees are exceptionally friendly, and the small town charm is undeniable. This is a fantastic stop when seeing President Carter’s historic sites in Plains.

Staff is helpful. They are the only store in GA to carry bacon flavored peanut brittle. You just got to try it. Great stuff.

Staff was so warm, friendly, and generous. We absolutely loved the peanut butter ice cream (souvenir cups!) which they make in house. The peach brittle really surprised us, and of course we got a bag of it. Lots of cute stuff and delicious homemade country sweets.

I love going to Plains to visit a piece of history. The people are so friendly and the treats are awesome. From the peanut butter ice cream to the white chocolate peanut clusters, it's all delicious. It's a fun train ride from Cordele to Plains.
