North Corbin Elementary School

NCE is a wonderful school! The staff and teachers are absolutely wonderful and go above and beyond to help. My children have been there for the last two years and we have had a great experience. Glenda Newman and her staff should be recognized for their efforts. I knew my children were in good care there and my children spoke highly of their teachers. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone searching for a place for their children.

Because the principle there is awesome . And the teachers rock! I love the pee teacher mrs. Janet . And =I dont know I just love it there this gose out to north corbin and from phoenyx johnson :)

I really don't care for the whole NCE and NCJH school at all. Not had a good experience with office staff or bus drivers. Instead of working together with families to help fix the situations they just want to get rid of the problem hence the child!!! This school is stuck up and careless never had this type of prejudice in South Walker. So if You have a special needs child with behaviour problems don't come to this school, or if you aren't in a financial bracket that meets there needs don't go to that school they don't care and will not help or understand! I could go on and on!

The principal is horrible!!! She needs to lose her attitude, and learn how to speak to the parents with respect. She has called the daycare workers that drive the kids to school liars, and also when explaining my child has a medical issue, she called me a liar because she has never experienced this type of issue. Well news flash lady, you are a school principal NOT A DOCTOR, so just because you don't have knowledge of a medical issue that doesn't mean it's not real. I am completely disgusted with her unprofessional attitude, the last place she needs be working is with children.

The principal (Glenda Newman) is not helpful & borderline rude to me as a parent. My children are afraid of her. We took our children off of the bus route because of the profanity and sexual conversations that were taking place (elementary bus). I have seen children stand on the seats while going down the road. There is no PTA or parent involvement whatsoever; parents aren't allowed to dine with their children for lunch either. I sought the front office several times for questions, permission slips, assignments and the staff was unorganized and not helpful.

Last but not least- My oldest daughter expericed bullying from another student & informed the teacher; the teacher failed to address it with the other child. My children are unhappy at North Corbin Elementary & so are my husband & I.

The principal is horrible!!! When a child is misbehaving, her first response is to send the child home. Well when a child learns that they can go home and not be stuck at school with her hateful self they will act up so they can go home. She needs to learn how to deal with the children instead of sending the kids home because she doesn't want to be bothered. She is obviously working in the wrong business.

My son has always done good in All the schools he has been in but now ,Since he has been here he will be held back. The office staff is unprofessional !!!
