Jason's Southern Table

Where do I begin? Well first, I made reservations for a Friday night in the private section for a romantic dinner, just me and my wife. The private section is a small room with a table, 4 chairs, curtains surrounding, and a dim lit atmosphere for a more personal experience. Although not sound proof, your tucked away from the lively areas. After we sat down, we gave our drink orders and went ahead and ordered our meals. I ordered a steak, of course. A few minutes passed before the owner himself came to our section and introduced himself and began speaking to us. Now I'd like to think I'm special,however I'm certain it was due to the way I ordered particularly. Pittsburgh sear, medium-rare, the only way a steak should be cooked in my opinion. And I'm guessing his too as he showed be the most marbled ribeye, that he specifically chose to cook for me. Needless to say, I was left expecting a world class steak experience and they delivered. Cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, and tender enough to eat with a spoon. I wish I had saved room for their many delicious and huge portions of cakes they offer, but there was no way I was leaving a piece of steak on that plate. The service was wonderful. Go try it for yourself. Enjoy. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

The from the time you walk in you feel welcomed. Savanah was our waitress and she is amazing very friendly and knows good food. I had tuna and red fish both amazing. My cousin had the best steak in Mississippi there tonight. I highly recommend to come here.

My wife and I were visiting relatives in the area, and they recommended we all go to Jason's for our Friday dinner. There were six of us in our group. Some ordered catfish dinners, others steak dinners, and for myself, it was the hamburger steak dinner with two sides. We also had an order of fried pickles for our appetizer. All of us enjoyed our meals. Seating was prompt, service was prompt, friendly, and courteous. Prices were reasonable. We beat the crowd getting there, and relatives told us it would get more crowded, which it did. Very good experience at this pleasant downtown, on the square location in Kosciusko.

Today was our first time visiting. Loved how they have the tables have a privacy. Our waitress was awesome and on top of her job. Making sure we had all we needed.

Take-out order of Build Your Own Mountain Burger and fries. The burger was large, well-cooked, and the bun had a slightly sweet taste which was different and tasty. Inside the restaurant it was cool (important when the outside summer temperatures are approaching 100°) and there are plenty of different rooms with tables and booths spread out.

OMG this place was excellent.
Kendra was an awesome help, made the experience even better.

I love this restaurant. They have a theme nights. We went on a 90's themed night. Was so much fun. I loved the food and the ppl were so nice. I can't wait to go back. It was a fun place and I love it there.

Absolutely love eating here! The owner is super nice! They sang Happy Birthday to my little girl and gave us dessert when they ran out of some sides❤ A little pricey but you Def get your money's worth!

We are so happy we found this restaurant! We were driving the Natchez Trace and wanted to find a spot for dinner. We hit jackpot! Very friendly people and amazing food. They even helped us with recommendations which route to best take in the dark to our next hotel in Jackson. We left happy!

Nice modern style, yet still down home southern comfort. Menu was small but has good variety, which is great because you aren't over whelmed with too many options. The ribeye was seasoned amazingly. The yellow fin rivaled high end restaurants at the coast. Normally side dishes don't get reviews but the green beans tasted so good I feel they need mentioning. I was very impressed and highly recommend.

The service was good, food was great! And this is just me being picky, they are a lil higher priced. But all in all, really good place to eat.

Great food and great service! This restaurant is a hidden gem, there are not many quality places to eat in such a small city. This is by far our favorite place to eat.

Staff was so friendly. Salad bar was amazing and the steak was one of the best we’ve ever had. Great little place!
