Sakura Express

This place is a hidden gem. The sashimi & sushi platter is delicious and half the price compared to larger cities like Greensboro. There are plenty of booths for dining, but I noticed most customers prefer carryout.

It was our first time trying Sakura Express tonight and it was sooo good! We ordered hibachi chicken, crab rangoons, and a summer roll and it was delicious! My parents who are hesitant with sushi even liked the summer roll! We were very impressed and will be going back for more!

We love eating here as they have very good service and good food.

This place is AMAZING! and all I had was the sushi. If the rest of the food is anything like the sushi..oml. THE SUSHI WAS THE BEST, HANDS DOWN, NO CONTEST.

I ordered the small plate of Hibachi chicken that is served up to 3 pm. The chicken was tender and had a good flavor. After 3 pm, you can only order large size plates that cost more. The place is small and clean. I will come back to try the sushi. It's the only place close to Asheboro that services sushi at this time.

Ordered the steak yakisoba and orders of sushi’s rolls (shrimp mango rolls and California rolls topped with spicy mayo).

Recently they opened their restaurant to dine in and to order in. While covid was still more prominent they had the door shut with a window to order to pick up from. They’re dine in is now a self service, so you’d get a cup for your beverage and dispense your own fountain drink.

Sakura Express is a fantastic sushi restaurant that I frequent often. It has fresh, high-quality ingredients and the sushi chefs are incredibly skilled. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, making it a pleasant dining experience. I especially enjoy their salmon and eel sushi dishes. Every time I visit, the sushi is made to perfection and served with a smile. The prices are also reasonable, making Sakura Express a great value for money. I have never had a bad experience at Sakura Express. Whether I'm in the mood for some sushi, tempura, or a traditional meal, I know I can count on Sakura Express to satisfy my craving. Highly recommended!

This was my first time eating here and the food was excellent! The restaurant was very clean and had a great staff. They have hibachi, Chinese and Sushi so there is something for everyone. I will definitely be returning soon to try more of their delicious food.

Great sushi for location. Order from here frequently and always have good service. Just wish they would open dining room again already.

Sakura Express is a fantastic Japanese restaurant! They have a huge sushi selection and serve Chinese food as well! Eating here my plate has always had more than enough food on it and I feel as if I am getting what I am paying for. If you are wanting sushi this is essentially the only place in town for that, so it's something to consider. But the food is also great, and I will continue to eat here as long as they keep doing what they are doing!

Due to covid going inside the restaurant is closed, so it's best you order over the phone and pick up. You can also go there order and wait in the car.

Food actually tasted like hibachi and not just soy sauce like some take out hibachi restaurants. The food was cooked but not burnt. I also bought avocado and California rolls and they were very fresh!!!
Definitely 10/10 for me and my boyfriend . Will be ordering again tonight 😊😅

This place has an amazing list of the sushi they serve and we got i believe the spicy sakura rolls and were absolutely blown away at how delicious these were especially for the price!!!

Best place in town! They also have the best white sauce I’ve ever had! I love to put it over the chicken fried rice plate for only $8!! Affordable, Amazing and so delicious! The best! And great sushi as well! Always fresh

The food? Immaculate. Hands down one of my favorite spots in Randleman to grab dinner. The service is always great, too.

Just moved to the area a few months ago and have been looking for a good sushi place. Found it at Sakura Express! Have to say I got nervous when I realized it was in the same complex as a different food place that also had good reviews but the food turned out to be disappointing, BUT NOT THE CASE HERE! Thankfully the sushi tasted fresh & yummy! It was so good we made a to go order to have more for dinner! After so many months of not finding good sushi we have to make up for it! LOL All that to say we will definitely be back and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I love this place. One of the most friendliest environments i have ever ate at. I love their food. The staff and owners are super sweet. We love the sushi here and have been trying different rolls everytime we go. Today the manager suggested we try the snow White roll. It was so good and fresh! The tuna was perfect!

The sushi here is pretty good, especially for the price. The sushi rice is sticky with a nice, light vinegar flavor. The fish is pretty good, they aren't stingy with the portions, and they happily customize rolls.

I wouldn't call it "authentic", but it doesn't have to be in order to be good. It reminds me of some of my go-to cheap sushi places in LA.

For fast food Japanese it is hard to beat this place. Great food and decent prices to say the least. My favorite in the area for sure. And the most important thing is they play contemporary Christian music on the radio! So you eat some good food and worship Jesus Christ at the same time!

We live in NY, and never really ate sushi before. Only once from Wegmans. BUT let me tell you, this place was amazing! Sushi was so fresh and delicious we went back the next day! I hope we can find a place that is even comparable to this place back home!
