Dinner was excellent.. Food was cooked to perfection and tasted wonderful.. our waitress was the best.. Very helpful and attentive. Just moved to Asheboro and asked her a few things about town and helped us tremendously.. I think her name was Morgan.. highly recommend and will definitely be going again soon.

Ask for “smothered chicken “ It’s grill with mushrooms, peppers, onions and white cheese. It’s a large portion for a great price. One side included. Great service.

Just ate lunch here today. This place is a gem. Nothing spectacular decor-wise but the food was excellent. Had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, gravy and banana pudding. If you are in the area and want some good hearty food stop here. Waitresses were very friendly. Quick to get a beverage refill. I would give Paw-Paw’s 6 stars if I could. So happy to find this place.

Awesome! Local restaurant with great food that tastes homemade. Noticed a lot of locals here. Definitely encourage tourists to visit this gem. .

If you are ever lucky enough to go there, get the chicken livers, seasoned onions okra and hush puppies. Oh my stars you will love it.

Ms. Hannah was our server and she was so sweet! The steak was delicious, the grilled chicken was to die for and those fried pickles!!! My husband and I will be coming back regularly for date nights. Our first trip to this place and they knocked it out of the park well done yall!!!

Their burgers are the best in Asheboro, and their breakfast is pretty good too.

I like that they have daily specials, that you can get a vegetable plate and their cookies when they are warmed. Sometimes the food is seasoned better than at other times.

My 3 yr old & I love to come here for their hotdogs && milkshakes!! We absolutely love paw-paw's Place!!!

My partner and I both got the meatloaf with fried squash, fried okra, Mac&cheese, and gb... the food was so good I wanted to cry, like emotionally, it was so so good. The owner/ waitress suggested the fried pies, sweet potato and pecan, OMG ah-mazing!!! Great service, fantastic food, plenty of parking, definitely coming back!!

First time visiting Pawpaw's Place. Loved it! The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The fried chicken and squash were hand breaded. The sirloin steak was comparable to any steakhouse steak. Best of all, the staff was friendly, attentive and appeared to genuinely appreciate the customers. Don't forget to get a homemade fried pie for dessert. Yummy!
