Mayflower Seafood Restaurant

I have heard so much about the burgers (yes I know, you don't get burgers from a seafood place) well let me just say this....go get a burger at Mayflower! It was awesome!!! Sweet potatoes fries were cooked perfectly as well.
My husband got the captain's platter. He enjoyed it.

They have amazing food, it’s always hot fresh and the wait staff is amazing. Great friendly family atmosphere that I recommend any family to go eat at and they have good prices with nice sized serving portions.

We went here to the Mayflower Seafood Restaurant in Asheboro and the food was delicious and the service was great. The walls I found out was done by a school teacher in WV. She from what I was told did it all by hand and it is beautiful. So if you get a chance to go the service is great and the food is awesome and I fell in love with the place.

Consistently quality seafood, excellent service, spacious dining area. I highly recommend the whole founder, pictured.

Had a great lunch here. Food was good, I ordered the 'Sunday Special' of fried white fish and pop corn shrimp and it was cooked just right. The service was fast and the wait staff kept visiting our table to check on us regularly. It was a little crowded and there was a decent wait to be seated. And after we were we felt like sardines, but it only detracted a little. Prices were acceptable considering how large the portions were. Would definitely come again!

The food is always great and the staff is always friendly. The sanitation rating is a 94 but thats not stopping us from eating here

It was a great experience. I haven't eaten here since 2009. The food good, hot and fresh! Our dear server Lou was great. A sweetheart named Marsha joined us for a min. I've known her for years. Glad you all are still around. Always coming back!

The negative reveiws you are reading come from ignorant individuals that have zero concept of just how overpriced and low quality the vast majority of seafood restaurants are outside Asheboro.
Mayflower is AMAZING in every way, compared to most other seafood places in 2023.
Always consistent quality and quantity, never any surprises, just delicious, perfectly fried seafood.
If the quantity they give you isn’t enough, you need to cut back on the amount of food you eat, and watch your weight, becuase they load the plates full, every single time.
I am glad the owner continues to be open, despite the miserable people that cluelessly whine and post low reveiws for such a wonderful restaurant.

I've been going to Mayflower for years. Love my waitress she has been there years.
