Delicious American style buffet, everything was very good and clean. Place is beautiful and they have live music on Fridays.

We ate REALLY well tonight! Lots of variety on the salad bar, included with every dinner. An appetizer and two entrees with beverages and tips, to-go boxes for lunch tomorrow, all for $60.
A hundred candles and sachets to smell, and still some cute Christmas stuff left for next year.

My parents found this spot thru social media and we decided to check it out, 45 min drive and worth it. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The steaks were cook to protection. I appreciate the alcohol option as I like spirits with 🥩.
Will need to return for the Prime Rib on the weekends as that's my preferred cut.

Personally, I would highly recommend this place. Steaks are really good, juice, tender, and delicious. Place is a old country style and I love it. Salads bar is always fresh and buffet style so all salad that you can eat. A lot of people coming from around town and out of the state to enjoy this place because you never will be disappointed. You can bring your family all ages.

Tyler the new owner has done a great job of making little improvements! This is a huge place with lots of private rooms. The atmosphere is country or rustic with the exposed beams and barn wood on ceilings and walls. The service is really good and food really tasty. The salad bar has a large variety of choices.

Nothing beats a Mrs Hanes ginger cookies. We went with a church group and took a tour. The people who work there are wonderful. Stop by and get some cookies. You will be glad you did.

Not part of a chain. They have a little store type on the way out. Great Food, Amazing service. This is a local favorite for everyone, they fill up fast on the weekends. Call ahead to get on the wait list.

This is my favorite restaurant. The salad bar is the best I've experienced in many years. The steak and potato were cooked perfectly. I do wish they had yeast rolls or the small honey wheat loaves rather than Texas toast but it's the only thing I'd change. I can't go often because of the prices but the steak specials make it possible for those with limited incomes to go a few times a year.

I rarely dine in where I live & its vicinity. This was prior to pandemic too. I'd usually order take out because I was too busy. Lately, some friends/family have asked me to join them at local restaurants to catch up. So we chose Homestead, in Roxboro, USA! First, it's a beautiful, warm & welcoming establishment. There was no wait to get a table. It has plenty of parking. Every staff member that I came into contact was friendly, professional and attentive. The salad bar is loaded with plenty of fixings! I chose a steak for dinner. Yes, I'm one of those rare carnivores who prefer extra well done and it was perfect! Compliments to the Chef! Now, their sweet tea was perfect & real sweet tea! Do I sound thirsty?! LOL Well not everyone makes great sweet tea. I even took some home! I was too full to finish steak. So I brought the rest home. I decided to buy dessert and some treats to enjoy later. Yes, this greedy girl bought the whole coconut pie because it came highly recommended by my friend. BTW, a slice is just a tease & I usually regret not buying the whole thing anyway. Now, I have no regrets!

The fried flounder is delish. The french fries were hot and the blooming onion was incredible. The salad bar was well stocked and everything looked fresh. The dining areas were amazing and the lighting was perfect. Plenty of parking even though we were extremely busy. Our entrees came before we could finish our salad. I would highly recommend this restaurant. If you want a steak however; be sure you have ample in the bank.

I had the 10 oz. Angus sirloin (medium) PERFECTION and my date had the seafood platter and man, that, was a Platter for sure.

3 of us guys made an impromptu decision to fly the airplane to get a bite to eat. This was my first time having a meal here, a friend recommended this place. Our meal was excellent! They have a robust well stocked salad bar, and my filet mignon was cooked perfectly. This steak was in the top 10 of the best steaks I’ve eaten. The twice baked potato casserole was excellent also. There are good options other than steak on the menu as well.

We called the Steakhouse before we left so they would be expecting us. We flew into the Person County Airport, when we landed we called the restaurant and someone from the steakhouse promptly picked us up at the airport and brought us to the restaurant. After our meal they took us back to the airport and dropped us off a didn’t charge for the transportation.

They are decorated for Christmas right now. The atmosphere reminds me of a Hallmark Movie. I’ll go back and take my wife before Christmas, she will love this place.

Well worth the drive to visit this restaurant. I have never been disappointed. Not to mention the salad bar can be a whole meal that's how big it is.

Homestead catered lunch for our healthcare office and the food was delicious. Plenty of food! Fried Chicken and Hamburger Steak in gravy with plenty of sides. Great meal enjoyed by all!

Everything it claims to be. Steaks are delicious and well prepared. The Ribeye has been a favorite. Check out their website and look for live music. Arrive early for dinner and then head to their entertainment facility next door for a show and dancing. Call ahead for tickets. It's a 45 minute drive from Raleigh but worth it. I felt the staff went above and beyond to ensure accuracy and expectations were met or exceeded. There is not food served at the entertainment hall but a pay bar is available with $1 soft drinks. You can order takeout from the restaurant and carry it in if you like.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday here. , the food was good our steaks were cooked perfectly, Robyns fillet, was one of the best she has ever had.

It was great. Service was great and the food was even better. I got the salmon and it was cooked correctly. A+

This is a great place to go to and grab a bite to eat. We went there during lunch and got the buffet food. It is very good food. It is great southern cooking there is ham , green beens, fried chicken, potatoes, salad, and much more.Homestead’s deserts are so good. I am not a fan of chocolate pudding but homestead’s chocolate pudding is so good. Their other deserts are amazing to. After 4:00 pm they stop the buffet and serve meals like steak and chicken kabobs. Homestead is a great place to eat.
