Take OK—3 (a.k.a. E Main) 9-½ miles east of Rattan then right (south) on N 4370 Rd ½ mile, then 0.4 miles west on E 1955 Rd. Turn NW up the private drive to the Goodwater United Methodist parking lot. Goodwater Cemetery is a compact yard size shaded plot only a few feet west of the church bldg & behind the pavilion. Some graves w/ typical markers, others w/ native stones, homemade cement tombstones or "Messenger Grave Markers." Goodwater Cemetery is well kept — the drive, parking area, sizable pavilion, grounds, & most markers, many w/flowers, show devoted care.
