The food was really good my steak was amazing. I loved the cheese board! Service was alright they were friendly just not readily available. I feel like between the price of food the amazing atmosphere and having to have reservations that the servers would be dressed up a little more not just in jeans and backwards baseball cap. Lol
I didn't mind I was just surprised. It's beautiful out there!! The downstairs sitting reminded me of sitting in a cave I really liked. Super cool!

Great place to visit and eat a Great Meal. 2 of us had the Special , monstrous T Bones 20ounce I think. My KC Strip was great. Deserts were great. Service was Top Notch. Worth the Price. Great atmosphere. The down stairs Dining has great view at night. Will definitely come back when in Town.

First time visitor and we loved it. The food was just perfect. Definitely coming back. I think we had the best seat in the house. It was my husband’s birthday and we loved our little table in front of a cozy fireplace. Enjoyed a beer at the Beany bar before dinner and caught a beautiful sunset.

Ribeyes were amazing as were all the sides (we tried them ALL)! Delicious pecan cheesecake!! 🤩 Loved the atmosphere & views!! Wish we lived closer to try more of the menu.

Have seen this hidden gem for years but never took the time to look into them further.. my mistake!! This was a spectacular dinning experience from start to finish!! Walking into the restaurant is set off by an inviting atmosphere only enhanced by the friendly staff there to greet you. The menu is small but each item seems to fit into the overall effect their creating. They also offer weekly specials and with the mouth watering descriptions I definitely plan on coming back regularly now! If traveling through Western Oklahoma, or live nearby and have made the same mistake I have, make plans to have dinner here because it's an experience you won't want to pass up!! NOTE: Reservations are required because this is a smaller restaurant with limited seating.

The Cheese boards are amazing. 14oz Ribeye was a great cut. Maybe seared just a tad long for my liking but I didn't turn it away. Family members had 10oz ribeyes and theirs were right on they said. Sides were very good. Rye whiskey selection was decent. Atmosphere and setting are top-notch. Service excellent as well

We loved everything about this restaurant. The food and service were great. I had the salmon and my husband had the T-bone special. The steak was outstanding and maybe one of the most delicious I've tasted.

White Dog Hill delivered an exceptional experience for our 25th wedding anniversary. The incredible location, friendly staff, and enchanting sunset view combined to create a magical ambiance. It was the perfect setting to celebrate our milestone, and the memories we made there will be cherished for years to come. Almost forgot, the food at White Dog Hill surpassed our expectations. This place was absolutely amazing! First off the service was outstanding, Robin and Taylor were spectacular and then we met Nelson (the owner) and he shared the history of White Dog Hill with us with such enthusiasm! We then ventured next door to the Beany Bar where the experience continued to drawn us in! Kelvin (the bartender) was very warm and inviting and made the experience so much more amazing! So much thought has gone into making this place extremely warm and cozy! You will experience superb service and superb views and a romantic atmosphere!

From making a wait-list reservation to dessert, expectations exceeded! Best server ever😋. Sense of humor a plus and was very accommodating to dietary restrictions. White Dog IS a MUST do on your trip to the Clinton area

I had a fantastic experience at White Dog Hill Restaurant in Clinton, Oklahoma. This place is perched on a hill, offering breathtaking sunset views that are simply unbeatable. The staff here is incredibly welcoming and attentive. While I didn't have a chance to try their food, the bar was a standout, offering a great selection of drinks. I highly recommend visiting White Dog Hill for the views and the warm hospitality! 🌅🍹👍

One of the best steaks I have had! The food was great. I was a little cold in there as I stay cold and had air blowing on me. I will be back in warmer weather!

I came here for a wedding and there isn't room in this box to say how amazing everything was! The steak and bacon wrapped asparagus was some of the best I've ever had! The staff was so friendly and constantly checked on the guests! If I didn't live out of state, this would be a restaurant I would visit weekly.

Nestled in Custer county just outside Clinton Oklahoma sits an original Native Red Sandstone building. Formerly a golf course club house built in the 1920s is now one of the best restaurants in the state! White Dog Hill has to be one of the most cozy and interesting places to visit in western Oklahoma and maybe the whole state! Purchased by Nelson King in the mid 2000s this once beautiful then abandoned structure is now thriving with life hosting patrons from all over. With their London native chef they whip up some of the best steak and unique dishes around! The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and stunning views make this a go to spot for a romantic evening. Everything is homemade and you won't leave hungry! The ribeye and shrimp I had was amazing! The chipotle potato salad was delicious and the brownie was fantastic! They also offer a great selection of wine and liquor with a full bar in the caretaker's quarters next door! I really recommend you check out this fantastic place next time you're near Clinton and see the beautiful architecture and antique decor!

No doubt about it White Dog Hill is way more than just a historic Route 66 attraction! We will hold fond memories of our 35th! Food was great! Lemon Pecan Pie was amazing! Atmosphere inside and out was an awesome experience! Highly recommend!!
