Rusty Spur Saloon & Steakhouse

Walked in and was hit in the face with cigarette smoke 😕 so disappointing, almost left but we decided to stay. Lady behind the bar immediately greeted us. Told us to have a seat and she’s be right there. Very friendly and got our drinks promptly. We ordered shrooms😋😋 they showed up in a few minutes very good. They have scratch made ranch dressing... my favorite!!
Our meal came with a salad and she brought us our bowls, since this was our first time, we had no idea what to do with them. We obviously gave her a puzzled look and she said help yourselves to the salad bar. I didn’t see it when we came in it was down on the lower Landing. It’s small but everything was really fresh.
We both ordered filets with loaded potatoes! It’s been a while so I hope they didn’t overcook it!
Patience is a virtue, trust me! It did take a little bit for our food to arrive but it was worth the wait. That is one of the very best steaks I’ve ever eaten. It was so juicy, tender, and flavorful AND cooked perfectly. Bravo to the chef!
Our waitress continue to do an excellent job throughout our dinner as well. I will definitely be back to enjoy another steak even though they allow smoking in the business. I think the time we came was a good choice. It wasn’t as busy, so there were less smokers.

Got a cheeseburger to-go from here. It was damn good! I'll be back.

Incredible flavor, incredible prices. A 16 oz ribeye for less than $25? Count me in. The best steakhouse within 100 miles easily. You can’t go wrong here.

My last visit was not a good one. Usually I have good service but even though it was a busy night, I never got waited on, even after someone told the witness that I had not ordered, I still was not waited on. I will go back but will request a different waitress.

The bartender woman was really nice, and Made Me a really good Crown and Coke. The locals were AMAZINGLY nice. Great selection on the jukebox.
The burger and onion rings were spot-on.
I went in just to get the food but with the warm welcome I ordered a drink and ended up talking for a long while with two different locals that were cool guys.

Amazing place we ordered from while traveling. The fries were perfect, pretty sure they’re fresh and hand cut. The steak was delicious and cooked perfect. The loaded baked potatoes were good too. Burger and chicken strips were fine. Definitely get the loaded fries though! The building looks more like a strip club than a restaurant but was pretty nice inside. We did the food to go, so didn’t stay for long. We will definitely be back next time we travel.

Absolutely the best.food I've had in months!

We have had steak everywhere between Texas and California and I must say the Rusty Spur has topped them all! Tender, juicy, buttery and cooked to perfection. I had the 16 oz ribeye and the wife had the KC steak,WOW deelicious!
We live here now and have a couple of other places to try for steak, it’s gonna be hard to beat the Spur!!

Spending the night in town we took a chance on eating here. Food was absolutely fantastic. Wifey and I both had steak. Price was very reasonable too. If you want to pay more for steak or you want cozy and quiet go to a place with a chandelier but the steak won't taste as good as this place. I grew up on a cattle farm in Iowa so I do know steak. There was families and cowboys and a smoking and non smoking area. Our waitress was great also.....so if your in the area and you like beef....go here. PS. Music on the juke box was great old time rock and roll....fun stuff

I had the steak tacos and they were perfectly cooked, delicious and more food than I could eat.

The food is amazing! My husband and I have had their steak, and it was so delicious and tender. It also came with salad, baked potato and bread. Great place!

The most perfect steak I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. It was as ordered medium and the chef did a wonderful job. Absolutely will be returning again.

Just happened upon this place on our way home. The food was phenomenal. Everyone in the place were extremely nice. Can not wait to stop there again. Definitely would suggest putting this place in your must stop and try list.

I enjoyed my stay had great conversations with the locals. What stands out the most is the steaks 16 Oz ribeye was outstanding. Owners are friendly and the place is very clean. Thanks for the hospitality enjoyed everything and will recommend to everyone

Best place for a good time absolutely love cat best bartender/ waitress always does her absolute best love the local atmosphere get to know a lot of people If u r in Seymour u have to come here this is place to go nothing like those small town bars, I recommend this place, and also if ur hungry copelands cafe, if u r looking for hand breaded home cooked delectable meals copelands is also the place to go it, byob if u want to bring a beer ur good

Best steak I've had in long time. Didn't even need any steak sauce, tender, juicy.
