Loved this waterfall and above it is a swinging brige. Climb down rocks to get to it. Be safe.

Definitely worth seeing if you are in the area to see Greeter Falls. This is a waterfall with an upper and lower fall.

Nice falls today. Decided not to go to base because we were tired after a long day of waterfall chasing, but there’s a rough little way to the base that under other conditions we would have did it,

Perfect combination of scenic and challenging.

When doing initial research over this location, we noticed greeter falls was a 3 mile hike. There are certain terrains on this loop that make up for the relatively "short" distance.

Beginner: 2/10
I would not suggest this for your first hike or "beginner" level hikers. But, if you are familiar with changing terrains or are particularly "fit" than this is an excellent hike to test your intermediate hiking skill level.

Pet- ability : 7/10
Some people had said this would be difficult for your dog to join on a hike and I would slightly agree. This really depends on your skill level again. If you are a beginner, leave the pup at home and focus on your safety. If you are intermediate (and Don't be afraid to admit that you have been on at least 5 hike and are now ready to challenge yourself) then the pup should be fine to tag along...as long as they don't have any prosthetics or underlying medical conditions (*consult your family vet).

Challenge/ safety concerns: 5/10
There were some "sketchy" ledges you could cross to get above the falls. Again, not an issue for intermediate hikers... watch your children and pups. The first large rock on bottom of stairs could cause some harm...but we used it as a slide to get to the bottom of the falls (check photos)

Swim ability: 10/10
These falls make for an amazing swim. I have started diving in every falls that will not take my life...so all of them. I did chance hypothermia for this review as it was 60°F and the water was Ice cold. Check the photos for legitimacy.

Overall: this hike was amazing. We will be going back and you will not be disappointed. BTW, bring water shoes to get that extra shot your friends can't.

I didn't get a chance to explore everything this area has to offer, but I'll be back because what I did see was outstanding. Despite there being a dozen or so vehicles in the parking lot, I only crossed two people in my journey. The path to the bottom of the falls had a tree across it, but you could still go under it.

Always a good time and a far more private section of the overall trail. Greeters is the attraction but always gotta stop here first (I personally like doing the trail in reverse).

Beautifully full waterfall this time of year. I'm a little upset I didn't venture down to the lower falls area but I will make sure to next time! The hike to it is fairly easy, though it was muddy and the rocks were a touch slippery. Worth a visit if you are already in the area and after a lot of rain.

Absolutely most gorgeous waterfalls with an amazing trail and the scenery is so beautiful. It's dog friendly with areas to wade in and take a dip.

This trail leads to a gorgeous waterfall with spectacular views. When I went on New year's day it had been raining the days before so it was muddy and slick but it was worth the effort to get there. We took the trail down and finally came to the metal winding staircase that took you down to the most fabulous views of the waterfall. There was another set of stairs leading down to the bottom and it looks like in warmer weather you could possibly swim there. I can't wait to go back again when I have more time to explore better.

Nice easy hike from the split trail from Greeter Falls. Go back the way you came to keep it easy, lots of rocky spots on the loop and one very narrow spot my youngest want afraid of but Dad was 😉

Beautiful! Short, easy hike. You can enjoy it from the top, middle and bottom with some fairly easy climbing. ✔

This is a strenous hike and lots of boulders. Its the same trail if you go to greeter falls. This is a bonus.

This is the smaller falls past Greeter Falls. If you continue on the trail you will pass some suspension bridges!
