Bear Point Marina, Cabins, Campground and Restaurant

There are a lot of beautiful places all over the state of Maine. We all have a place we would love to return to at least for a moment. For some, including my family, We love being in places of natural beauty. Places where all the outside noises of the everyday just wisp away in the breeze. This is our place - a place where the only thing you need to worry about is the weather. If you love camping and good food - If you like adventures and helpful, friendly people, then you should try this little gem in the heart of the Maine woods. The kids can't wait to go, and they would rather go here than anywhere else - we have kids 3y to mid 20's and this is THE #1 place they want to go. They can be free here. Out in nature where they see new things and adventures at every turn. They run wild - as nature intended.

This is a Fantastic campground / cabin rental business. The owner is very friendly & helpful. This is an exceptional "get-away" for those that love the North Maine Woods. Very quiet, very nice where nature puts you asleep. We stayed 9 days and loved every minute. Pay no attention to the negative reviews, They may have needed a "city atmosphere". The residents up here are very hard working and very honest. I have lived in Maine my entire 62 years, and know this state very well. Plenty of stores in Dover-Foxcroft not far away, & many other towns & settlements in the area too. We explored the ATV trails, mountains, hiking trails, boating, fishing, a brewery,, and also relaxed listening to the loons & sounds of nature. You won't be disappointed looking for nature & relaxation here.

We try to get to the restaurant at least once a summer. It’s by no means fancy. But it is a wonderful place to have a pizza, as well as seafood Wait staff are incredibly friendly and the food is great. If you’re looking for a five-star restaurant experience, this is not it. It is, however, one of the most relaxing, comfortable, warm, and friendly places you’ll find.

Super nice host. Family owned camp site, we were group of three families and owners were so kind and sweet . Owners were available all the time for any help or questions. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone.

If I coukd give 10 stars I would! We started by just going to the restaurant on our side by side and four wheeler. The food was great, Susie is AMAZING!! So willing to help. Then my brothers tire went flat on the four wheeler. Pete (Susie's brother) was there to save the day with air and other stuff to help us get on the way. They go above and beyond! We for sure will be back and are hoping to rent a cabin soon!! HIGLY recomended!!!

For sure, an excellent place to stay. We rented a cabin overlooking the water and truly enjoyed it. Excellent food by Dillan too. Thank you!

We tried this place for the first time ever and what a gem!

We offered chili cheese fries as an appetizer. My father and I both enjoyed the special of the day, BLT on a Hoagie with a side of chips! My mother ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of Fries and my daughter ordered Chicken Fingers with Fries.

Everything tasted AMAZING. The server/cook was super sweet.

Great campground! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Had dinner at the restaurant Friday night, food was delicious. Area is quiet and Sebec is a very clean lake. Susan was a great hostess, we will be back!

Nice little restaurant and family friendly marina on Sebec Lake. We had the brick oven pizza, scallops and a burger with fries. I thought the pizza was great, while my sister thought the crust was underdone (a matter of opinion, I suppose). The fries were delicious and the burger and scallops were enjoyed as well. It is outdoor eating so expect some flies. Management/service super friendly. I will go back again. Great views too!

Very responsive and accommodating when I needed to alter my tent reservation. I started my mornings with a relaxing swim in the lake, enjoyed a wicked awesome brick stone pizza from the restaurant, chilled with friendly locals around the fire one evening with some cold brews I bought from the store on grounds, and then slept like a rock to the sounds of nature.

A place where you can come to just relax. Beautiful scenery, and enjoy every moment. Everything at your fingertips. Food fuel and live entertainment. Can't wait to go back.

Dinner here was fabulous! The pizza was delicious, and still great the next day!! Scallops and haddock were both fantastic. Or group of 20 were easily accommodated, good came out hot and fresh, and everyone was happy!!

We first came to this little hidden gem of a place about five years ago in October as a surprise birthday get away gift for my significant other . I dislike the bigger campgrounds myself and this one is just perfect! Since then we have stayed in every cabin several times ( 2 out 3 they own and one is a family friend’s that SO graciously let us stay there after an overbooking ) We have had our family members and friends come and stay as well. All love it there! The cabins offer everything to “camp” out and if you find them lacking something all you have to do is ask. Susan, Pete and Dillion will oblige just about any request. The cabins are cozy and clean. There are fire pits and outdoor seating as well. The seasonal campers that are set up year round there are THE most friendly you’ll ever find! The beach area is perfect for the littles to wade in and swim as well as the older “kids”. Ample docking if you are bringing a boat ( or renting one... we do sometimes rent from Tim Merrill’s Marina also on Sebec Lake. Highly recommend them) They have gas for your boats at the docks as well at the Campground. The little restaurant there is also great! They offer lots of different selections for every taste pallet if you don’t feel like cooking yourself. I do bring bottled water and if I plan on cooking I usually haul the things I like to use, griddles, lobster pots , ect.. They also have a little store with Beer, Wine, candy, ice, worms for fishing, clothing and more.
I am originally from the Moosehead Lake Region ( about an hour north of Sebec) I have worked at several cabin/ campgrounds since I was 17. If you’re looking for warmer water, great customer service, great food and a comfortable place to stay at a REASONABLE Price .. Bear Point Marina should be your destination! It’s THE perfect place to slow down. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!

My family went to Bear Point Marina this week for dinner. We had an excellent dinner and great service. Everyone loved what they ordered. We will definitely be going back soon!

Cabins are very clean and enjoyable stay. This is my third time staying while atving the area. Food is fantastic and ask for the freshly made blueberry pies😉.. See you again next year.

One of the only and best restaurants in Bowerbank. Large menu offerings for it's remote location. Great woodfire pizzas. They also had seafood and many other offerings. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Worth the trip if you're in the Sebec area.

I Had the fried clam dinner. I Was very impressed with the meal. The coleslaw was different from anywhere else I have had it was but very tasty!

I Will Come Here Every Summer!! Wonderful people, with all the amenities. A small store on premises with all the necessities, sand beach, boat launch and docking, camper parking with full hookup, 4-wheeler trails that lead to amazing views and cabins to rent!! Also have home made brick oven pizza!

What a gem! It was our first visit and we couldn't be happier to find this place so close by. Everyone was friendly, the food was phenomenally fantastic and fresh! We will be back!

This is our second year at Bear Point. They treat everyone like family. We love it there and will definitely be back again next year!!
