Leens Lodge is a great place. The physical facility is stunning, the food is second to none and the service- guides for fishing, are exceptional. Ten Weston Mass dads who have known each other for over 15 years went there for five days last week and can’t wait to go back. This place is great!!

I took my son and 2 grandsons to Leen's this past July and it was a wonderful experience. While I've been going to Grand Lake Stream for over 50 years and my son many times as well it was the 1st for the boys and the 1st staying at Leen's. The cabin was well furnished, clean and right on the water. You could hear the water lapping the shoreline at night. The food was beyond great with lobster, prime rib and many other great choices. The owners were very attenuative to our needs and really made the trip special for the boys. The location can't be beat as it's right on the most beautiful lake in Maine and the sunsets are incredible. Don't know why I haven't stayed here before but I do know where I'll be staying for now on!

Went for dinner while visiting family in the grand lake stream area….A hidden gemstone!! Beautiful and delicious dinner. Wonderful, accommodating owners/host. We went for
Salmon night which was excellent. Each night has a different featured entree.
We arrived about an hour early at their recommendation for some wine and cocktails on the deck prior to dinner. One important thing to remember is the place is BYOB. Food is wonderfully prepared with fresh ingredients and amazing flavor. The ambiance is just perfect, we will be back. Would highly recommend!

Stayed at Leen's for the 1st time and brought my son and two Grandsons. To say this place is special is an understatement. I live in NJ and the food was fine restaurant quality and if closer my wife and I would eat there often. Our cabin was directly on the water and you could hear the waves hitting the shoreline 24 hours a day. They had numerous options for the boys including kayaks and canoes as well as a great beach to swim from. The main building where the restaurant is has large windows looking straight out onto the lake and the views especially at sunset were incredible. The owners were very helpful and friendly. I can't recommend this resort any stronger. My wife and I are already planning to return next year so she can see what I've been raving about.

Our experience at Leens Lodge was incredibly great. The Weeks, owners, were very friendly and accommodating as was the rest of the staff. The rustic cabins made you feel like you were in seclusion and were very clean. Wendy did a fantastic job daily of keeping them in order. We fished with Dale Tibet who was a great guide and prepared wonderful shore lunches. He builds beautiful canoes during the off season and kept us entertained for the day along with in the fish. The food at the lodge was exquisite and girdle bursting!!! We are excited about our return.

Though the cabins appear rustic they are fully equipped with great wifi service, screened in porches and great lake views. Very clean and dog friendly. We happened to visit last weekend on an impromptu trip. A great place to relax and enjoy the summers of Maine. My son enjoyed the use of the Kayak for a quick morning adventure. Food is excellent. Service is friendly and awesome. Feels like family...the ones you like anyway. Planning on another trip back soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leen's Lodge. The owners and staff were very personable and accommodating. The food was delicious. Nod to Scott. We recommend the guided fishing tour with JR...he's a very knowledgeable and patient guide....a great guy all around. Some good fishing...caught a lot of small mouth bass. Enjoyed the sunsets by the lake.

We chose Leen’s Lodge for our first ever annual Clark’s Rangers retreat ... turned out to be a heck of a good decision!!! Kris and Scott were everything you would want as hosts. Kris has an infectious personality - always happy with incredible name recognition. Scott turned out fabulous food and his nightly oratory on the evenings menu was a daily highlight. The BYOB was wonderful because The official bourbon of Clark’s Rangers is IW Harper ... and not everyone carries it, so problem solved! We stayed at the Cove(8) and Westlook (2) cabins and both were very comfortable for our group...plus Wendy crushed the daily housekeeping!! Scott hooked us up with some amazing guides who put us on some great fish! Each night we watched hockey playoffs (hockey is the official sport of Clark’s Rangers) and enjoyed the nightly live music (provided by Clark’s rangers)!! We have already reserved for next year!!

Scott and Kris were awesome hosts! They rolled out the red carpet for "the Clark's Rangers" welcoming us as we arrived and taking the the time to show and tell us about the property, the history, the layout and what to expect during our stay. Truly awesome folks, truly awesome lodge. Great accommodations and did I mention the food! Scott and crew put us on the food! Kris put us on the fellowship! And the guides put us on the fish! Clark's Rangers has found a home away from home and heads-up Leen's Lodge - Clark's Rangers 2022 is happening! Thanks Scott and Kris! - Couz' Eddie

We stayed in a nearby cabin on West Grand Lake, but attended one of the amazing dinner services (Lobstah!!). Main course was delicious as was the homemade blueberry pie. The dining hall is tastefully decorated and well-worth the visit. REMEMBER to call 24hrs ahead for reservation, and BYOB!!

07/2019 Looks very nice. Can't wait to stay there next year. Dinner was great and I don't think I have to have stayed there to change my review to five stars. Even though I haven't stayed there, the people owners and staff are so nice and the views are beautiful I can't see how I would not give it five stars after staying there.

07/2020 Had a great time, the place is beautiful and the people are so nice. Can't wait to return next year. Keep those five stars and then some. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
7/2021 was great and 7/2022 is starting of the same!

"If I were heading there, I wouldn't start from here." Overheard by a local resident providing directions to Leen's Lodge. And "I don't think you can get there from here" was heard by another.

There's no quick way to Leen's Lodge. Ok, there is a floatplane that gets you there quickly from Bangor. But you have to get yourself to Bangor, first. Driving it's two hours from the airport.

But it is worth every bit of effort to get there. Leen's Lodge is a gem on the edge pristine clear waters of West Grand Lake in the heart of the northern Maine wilderness.

The lodging is rustic - it is cabins on the lake. But they are clean, quaint, and comfortable.

The service and food are top-notch. The proprietors, Scott and Kris Weeks, and family, along with a few extra staff provide an experience you won't ever forget.

Dinner - 5 stars. The first night I had the most amazing, perfectly seasoned, tender lamb chops with freshly baked homemade bread, wild rice, asparagus, and dessert was local blueberry pie. Other entrees included maple glazed salmon, filet mignon, and fresh Maine lobster.

Breakfast - You cannot beat it. Blueberry pancakes with local maple syrup and thickly sliced bacon. My morning order "Wendy, make whatever looks good today." I was never disappointed.

But you are not just coming here for the food. It's an epic outdoor experience - the quality of hunting and fishing is among the best in the world. We fished and caught as many big perch as we wanted, plenty of smallmouth bass, and even some land-locked salmon. (I won't mention that my fishing buddy hooked an eel - that did not get in the boat.) All of this with epic views while bald eagles and osprey soar overhead.

The fishing guides are amazing and make the experience suitable for anyone - whether you are an accomplished angler or you've never even baited a hook, you'll find what you're looking for here.

I understand the hunting is even better.

When you're there, don't forget to look up at the night sky. I don't think I have ever seen the stars so bright.

I am counting the days until I can return to Leen's Lodge.

My husband and I spent my birthday at the Leens Lodge this past weekend. It was seriously the best weekend of my life. The cabin was incredible and so cozy, the sceneray and the lake life was amazing. Scott was so welcoming and a great chef. The food is incredible, and he makes a pretty good pecan pie! His lobster will melt in your mouth and the blueberry pie will be the best you’ve ever had. My husband surprised me by setting up the pecan pie as the dessert for my birthday dinner because he knows that’s my fave! We took the boat out on the lake and had an amazing day. We went out to Caribou Rock and jumped off into the water. Such an incredible experience. We also went over to this little island and went for another swim. The water was so clear and so clean. So refreshing. We also got to take the kayaks out and that was so much fun! This was an unforgettable vacation and we will be back next year. We will be making this an annual vacation for us. Beautiful sunsets on the lake as well! Truly amazing and unforgettable. Thank you so much for the best birthday weekend I’ve ever had.

Quaint lodge in the wilds of Maine. Started out as a hunting lodge many years ago. Many celebrities stayed there, not the least of which was Ted Williams. Now a quaint place with individual rustic cabins with a central dining room where they serve gourmet meals. Lots of scenery, hiking, fishing, boating, etc. Definitely recommended if you want to get away from it all in a beautiful and calm setting.

Scott, Rich, Melanie and Paul showed us a wonderful time each day and evening while serving us like family. We had made to order breakfasts, fantasic lunches and gormet meals each night with wonderful desserts. Lobster, Ribeye, Turkey, Homemade soups are their specialities. The
locals come for dinner because it's the best food in the area.
We had guests take us on a boat tour through prestine lakes and beautiful mountain back drops.
It was a vacation of a life time for us. We'll be booking a trip again this September for a Fall follage run. Truly a quite vacation and fishing destination that few people get a chance to experience!
We Highly recommend this retreat...

We booked for next year but had the most wonderfull dinner last night. Prime rib, (probably the best I've, had), wild rice and mushrooms, asparagus, and cream brulle. They started off with hors d'oeuvre including, vegetables, cheese, assorted sliced meats, but best of all was the 🦞 lobster rolls. Overall, one of the best meals I've had, and in a wilderness setting with stunning views.

My bird hunting experience was excellent at Leens lodge. Scott and his staff do everything they can to make sure your stay is top notch. The guide's and dogs make the hunt, with multiple points and flushes on birds. The food, lodging and hospitality
makes Leens lodge a
bird hunters dream destination. Dan Howlett

A wonderful stay at Leen’s. The staff, food, comfort, and fishing were all terrific. We had a great guide, Gary Santerre, who knew the area and lakes well.
