Grand Lake Lodge

My father and I came up for the bear hunt with hounds and stayed at one of Paul and Susan's cabins. The location was remote, yet still conveniently close to stores. There were a lot of things to do, fishing, bird hunting, guided bear hunting, hiking, etc. There was no lack of entertainment at the cabins either, with an assortment of books, puzzles, magazines, and games. There are a lot of sights to take in, such as large hardwood and pine forests, swamps and marshes, rock landscapes, and rivers. The cabins themselves have all the amenities you would need and are nicely finished on the inside. Paul and Susan were very nice, and if you do a bear hunt, I promise it was an experience of a lifetime. All of the guides are very nice and always strive to succeed. If you're looking for a nice place for a quiet stay and outdoor recreation, this is the place!

My family recently stayed at GLL and are already thinking of how we can plan a trip back from next year! We had the unique opportunity to hunt a moose & fish with Laney’s Guide Service during our stay. Everyone across the board were courteous, hospitable, and extremely hardworking. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied. The lodge is located alongside a BEAUTIFUL and clear lake. It truly gives Glacier a run for its money with how clear it is. The entire property was kid & dog friendly - perfect for families! This place is truly a gem!

The accommodations are comfortable and a great place to retreat to after a long day of fishing.
Susan and Paul are wonderful hosts always accommodating and a pleasure to work with to make our trips a success.

Paul and Sarah are great hosts. Professional, efficient and friendly. The Lodge is a piece of Maine sporting history, rustic but in great shape. Paul is an effective guide as well! Highly recommend.

We spent the weekend at Grand Lake Lodge, and had a wonderful time. The owners were very nice and did everything they could to make our stay as great as possible.

We rented a boat and motor, and spent one day out on the beautiful and clear lake. The cabin was recently renovated, and was very clean and comfortable. All in all, it was a very relaxing and pleasant weekend.

Lovely place to stay grand lake stream is probably my favorite place in the world. Folks in town make you feel right at home. Great little get away spots cheap. Owners of the cabins were super friendly people

Beautiful place along side the lake. Wonderful vintage cabins full kitchens no dishwasher. WiFi available. Single beds, two in most rooms and most cabins have multiple rooms. Most cabins newly renovated. An amazing place in the middle of nature.

One of the best places I've ever stayed. Found the coolest place on earth, Norway Point on a fishing day. Dozens and dozens of small mouth. Great time.

Best cabins on the lake, 30ft from the water, they have a full bath, oven, stove, heating, and fridge, best view, great people, nowhere better to stay in grand lake

Stayed there in the 60s ,70s 80s and finally back there for our 50th anniversary same great place the hosts were outstanding
