The doctor was great. The nurse steve was amazing he took good care of my son.

I had my gallbladder removed 11/11/22 at 910am I say this cause I will name, names the staff was beyond kind, helpful, understanding, lady who checked me in she did a wonderful job being trained!

Love to give big shout out to surgeon DR. P. The nurse the A -Team I call them!

Mary! Eric! Felicia! Bret! Lucy! And one more I do not remember the name! Also the kindest lady who sat with me in the recovery room! You all are amazing staff you guys flow! On the same page. As a trans man I was a bit nervous but they made me so comfortable! Much love!

In 2019, my husband and I switched to "My MI. Healthcare." My husband had 2 cataract out patient surgeries.. What a great surgical staff. Very professional and friendly. We feel confident using this health system.
My husband returned for an eye surgery in 2021. Same service. Very nice staff and great care. Another successful surgery. If you need an eye Dr.,
Dr. Claringbold is your guy.
I also have a Neurologist, Endocrinologist & Orthopedic Doctors within this health system. I feel very confident under their care.

From the other reviews, it looks like this is a hospital that you either love or hate. We loved it. My husband went to ER in Mt. Pleasant with a swollen foot which turned out to be a severe case of MRZA. He was put on IV antibiotics immediately and transferred to Clare Hospital that evening because there weren't any beds in Alma. Everyone on the third floor was wonderful, and we have no complaints. He was there four days and recieved excellent care.

For years I had negative thoughts (for no reason) of the hospital until these past 2 years. I have never felt so comfortable with the staff, the nurses, the technicians, all the hospital staff. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and I do not have to wait long for any procedure. Notice I did not mention the doctors, I do love the hospital and all they do there.

Oct. 2016 - I had an all around great experience at MidMichigan - Clare when I had surgery there to repair and pin a broken finger. Check in was super easy and I was taken back to the pre-op room very quickly, which was nice. I was 5 weeks pregnant when I had to have the surgery, so I was a nervous wreck about making sure the baby was safe. Every nurse I had was extremely understanding of that and they were all kind, patient, and helpful. They didn't mind answering all my questions (and I had a lot) and took a great deal of time to explain everything to me. The anesthesiologist, Rick, was wonderful! Due to my baby, I couldn't go under and instead had to do a nerve block. He thoroughly explained everything to me and then stayed by my side the whole surgery, talking to me, keeping me calm, and making sure I was okay both physically and mentally. Him being there made a world of difference to me. Dr. Middleton did the surgery and was great! He was quick and made it as painless as it could be. Since I was awake, him and the others helping him explained everything to me to help put me at ease as they could all easily tell I was terrified. Recovery went smooth, the nurses were again all attentive and kind. Every person, whether medical professional or person on staff, that I encountered went above and beyond and it was easy to see that they were all there because they are genuinely caring people who want to help others. I am extremely pleased with my experience at MidMichigan - Clare and would recommend them to anyone!

My husband broke his nose and this was the closest ER. We needed the CT scans sent to our primary care doctor back home so his nose could be set properly by an ENT and we couldnt get through to the main records line at the midland location. We called the Clare records department and explained the time sensitive situation to Julie and she did an amazing job speeding up the process. Without Julies help my husband would not have been able to have his nose set in time without paying for another CT scan.

Full disclosure, I've had 2 negative experiences with a different dept within this hospital. However, the E.R. staff was fantastic on 3/18/2020. We are in the Corona Crisis, I am a newly diagnosed cancer patient, one week out from my first chemo treatment and my port started showing signs of infection. Every staff memeber I interacted with was amazing last night and I felt confident they did everything in their power to protect me while treating something that is honestly a bit outside their normal range of services. I was utterly terrified to be in a hospital while so compromised and they did an amazing job of making it easier.

I see alot of bad reviews but I have to say our families experience was amazing my daughter had a broken collar bone and they got us rite in got get comfortable as much as they could the nurses were all amazing the security guards were also great and helpful the xray tech was very accommodating and understanding to her pain the scans as well and the Dr was very up front and honest and got her taken care of... in total we spent 3.5 hours there.

Thank you to Mid Michigan hospital in Clare. We came in Saturday (26th) because my husband was experiencing chest pains. The staff took such good care of John. Kept us informed of test results. Arranged transfer to our hospital closer to home. We have been seen for my mom’s broken hip, my tooth ache, my husbands heart attack and also for stitches. Each time we were treated so kindly. Thank you to the staff. You are the best.

Well I never was their until yesterday in mount pleasant Michigan. I got lost on highway. Then I got my direction right n found the place. It's a very hugh building. N applebees is on one side n burger king is across the street plenty of place for food

In 1988 and 1991 I had 2 babies born by C section and the experience was wonderful. In this last year I have been there three times, with the last time being a week ago with a grand mal seizure. They did a great job stabilizing me and then sending me to their Midland Hospital. I would chose Clare ER over MT. Pleasant ER anytime.

This is the best hospital I have ever had to stay at. All staff did a great job taking care of me. Everyone was very helpful and friendly they helped each other out when ever needed.

we have had our ups and downs here people do make mistakes no place is perfect but tonight we are super pleased with how they treated my daughter even though they were busy they took the time to honestly answer our questions they treated our daughter there and sent us home with prescriptions to continue my daughter getting in better health her fever is already going down. thank you so much

Was a great place to go for aqua therapy on degenerative disc L5 veterans disability program. A gem in the ruff as far as I'm concerned among all bad reviews . Everything from ER to therapy to aqua negative traction people have been above great.

This hospital is top notch. Every encounter with staff, Dr.Dan, X-ray tech, Nurse Practioner, Stephanie, was exceptional!! Thank you all in making my hospital experience a positive one.

I was rushed to the Hospital because my blood pressure wasn’t registering I should have been gone but these nurses and doctors got everything hooked up and got medicine going through me and I was fine after a while I was coming to and feeling better I owe them all a million thank you I’ll go to that hospital again December 8 2021 I love the newer doctor she is the sweetest kindest person Dr Nataial Tetyeh not sure if it’s spelled right

People are very nice and accommodating.

I basically took my boyfriend there for his doctor's appointment and everyone there was rather nice and I appreciate that so thank them for their services please.

Everyone was super nice and helpful before, during and after my surgery. I can't thank the staff enough for making me a as comfortable as possible and for their reassurance.
