Two years ago we had our furnace and ac unit replaced. We had 3 estimates and even though thumb heating and cooling were not the least expensive, we felt comfortable with their company. Very happy we did! Jody listened to me and my wife’s concerns with the install and their crews were amazing!

Great service and very friendly people to work with. Our new furnace install only took a day and a half and everything went smoothly. They were very thorough with our install and were more than happy to work with our situation. Couldn’t be more happy, would highly recommend.

Awesome service! Very thorough, took the time to troubleshoot some of our HVAC issues during regular maintenance, and our dogs loved the service tech! All around fantastic customer service, super happy with the quality and price.

My old furnace failed completely and needed to be replaced. I called several local heating and cooling companies for a quote. Two (2) were no-shows for the appointment. One had such a backlog that they couldn't even quote for 6-8 weeks.
I did get three (3) quotes and Thumb Cooling & Heating came in at the high end. However, I was greatly impressed with Jody Richardson. He was very thorough in establishing what work would be needed to replace the old furnace. Jody was always prompt for appointments and answering and returning phone calls. He took photos of the old unit and setting. He made special notation of the crawl space accessibility to get the old unit out and the new equipment in.
I was so impressed with Mr. Richardson that I amended the order to include a new water heater and duct cleaning service. Since I was in a no-heat situation, Jody made sure that I would get service as soon as could be scheduled during the holiday season.
My new furnace was installed on January 2, 2023. The installers were right on time. They were courteous, friendly, and professional in all that they did. This install wasn't the easiest for them. They had to crawl under the deck to gain access to the crawl space. The crawl space is cramped so I'm sure they had to work harder than a normal install. Despite that, the 2 man crew had the old stuff out and the new equipment installed far quicker than I thought. When they were done there wasn't a scrap of debris anywhere. Then they thanked me for doing business with them. It was a genuine expression of gratitude that I appreciated.

The duct cleaning was scheduled for later and once again the crew was polite, friendly, and professional in all they did. They also had some challenges in doing the work. This is an old house with an addition that makes access rather difficult. I don't think the ducts had ever been cleaned. Once cleaned the air flow was noticeably improved. Between the new furnace and clean ducts I no longer have cold spots in the house. I also have consistent hot water on demand. No more cold showers!

Every person at Thumb Cooling & Heating that I met or talked to on the phone are the nicest, most professional people I have ever dealt with. I feel like a valued customer. I will return to Thumb Cooling & Heating for all of my future service needs.

I had to take a moment to commend your entire team for an outstanding job they did on my house. I have never had a job this large go so smoothly in my life. Starting from Nick who estimated my job to Jake the manger in charge of the installation. Both of these gentlemen were very professional and knowledgeable in their jobs and did an outstanding job. Of course I can’t forget about the installers who also were professional at what they did. The installers were here early every day and worked approximately till four PM. The job site was always clean and organized which to me, in my mind, meant the guys are professional. I literally could go on and on about the job and how happy I am. I just wanted you to know you have done a great job of assembling this job and in closing you have a customer for life and a strong advocate for your company.

Thumb Cooling and Heating installed a new furnance and central air with ducts throughout the house as we converted from electric baseboard heat to natural gas. The team was very organized and professional. They communicated well, kept a clean job-site, and answered all our questions. Highly recommend.

Recently had a two mini splits installed. From initial call thru estimate to final install everyone was super professional, on time and work was performed exactly as expected. Install crew was very neat and arrived on time and completed the job on time. Could not ask for a better experience!! Highly recommend!!

I had Thumb Heating and Cooling install a boiler system for radient floor heat in my home. The gentlemen that came to my home were very knowledgeable, kind, courteous and were very professional. The quality of the work performed first class. They didn't rush the install. They took the proper amount of time to ensure the job was done right the first time. The system is up and running and I have not had a single issue which I am amazed at considering the amount of plumbing and soldering that was installed. Needless to say I am very please with the work performed and would highly recommend Thumb Heating and Cooling for any of your heating and cooling needs.

We had Thumb Cooling & Heating install a mini-split system with 3 heads and heat pump. Supply chain issues impacted our installation date but when it arrived a crew was dispatched and completed Installation that day - hitting the original estimation. The units have been running great and we are very pleased. Everyone we dealt with from the estimator, to the planner, and the installation crew and electricians were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional.

The team I had installed my furnace AC heat pump and thermostat were exceptional workers Matt, Dave and Josh were polite and knowledgeable of their job, they were always on time and ready to work they were exceptional about cleaning up after the job was done for the day. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a furnace installed. I personally hated to see them leave when the job was done. I am very satisfied with the work that they did.

Mike and Josh are amazing. Sometimes it is awkward when you have someone come into your home to do work, especially when you don’t know them. They were so professional. It was very muggy out and they worked so hard to install our mini split AC, which we love. We cannot say enough about these two guys, this company is lucky to have them. Again, thank you. We love our unit.

Thumb C&H installed new furnace and AC. 2 1/2 day job. On time, and professional, courteous techs who maintained a clean job site. An installation issue occurred which was discussed and modified quickly. A minor post-installation correction was necessary and was immediately addressed. Overall good job.

The Service & installation crews were excellent. Losing heat in the middle of a storm was challenging. The crews answered all of my questions to make sure I understood the issue and also made sure my situation was fixed as soon as was possible.

They did a fantastic job installing my carrier mini split system, and were also cheapest around as a bonus. Would reccommend to anyone in the are looking for HVAC services. My ONLY issue is they could have done a better job with cleanup, but that is a small issue compared to how well they did the install and education with how the system works.

Extremely happy with the work Thumb Cooling & Heating performed at my Saginaw residence. Install of a Generac and also replacement of an Air Conditioner. Both crews could not have been more professional. They Arrived early, explained how the day would progress and finished each job early. Grateful for the attentiveness to detail and cleanup when finished. Highly recommend this company!

Water heater problem. Came within few hours. Was expecting to have to have new one installed ($1,000+)
But serviceman changed hose and said even though heater from 2004 still good. I am a female senior and easily could have told me needed new one. Very honest and only cost $200.
I will always use this company and feel secure knowing just a phone call away.
