Pimushe Resort

Fantastic vacation spot! Fishing, hummingbirds, wild life, water toys and a great swimming beach. Gorgeous, clean cabins and grounds. The resort owners are wonderful people and we look forward to our vacation weeks with them every summer! Highly recommend a visit!

September 2023 was our first Pimushe Resort stay, and what a wonderful time. The owners are as helpful and friendly as can be. The campsite, the pristine cabin, the beautiful lake, and the great grounds and docks all come together for an ideal Minnesota Fall vacation. We're still talking about it.

Pimushe Resort has been a family destination for over 50 years. The lake has loons, otters, and eagles. Oh, and a variety of fish. Beautifully furnished cabins, a quiet peaceful location with plenty of amenities for family fun. Water toys, beach, volleyball, cornhole, bicycles and Sundae Sunday!

Highly recommend! It’s a wonderful place to spend time with family and enjoy the outdoors!

This resort is run by an amazing family whose goal is to give their customers an enjoyable, comfortable and positive experience. They absolutely deliver! The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The scenery is up north picture perfect. I look forward to returning!

Honestly one of the best resorts I've been to. The owners are attentive and caring. The cabins are gorgeous, spotless, and fun to be in! The lake is a blast and you feel close to nature, especially with the abundance of wildlife. It is fun for the whole family, but also great for a quiet weekend get away. Hope to return soon!!!

I have been to the area on vacations since I was a kid, last year was the first time I stayed at this resort. My family had stayed there before and is the only place they will go back too. I had a great time fishing and relaxing. The owners make you feel welcome and almost like you've been coming back for years. The cabins rate from a cabin to wow my house doesn't look this nice to fit every budget or family size. I agree with the other review and almost didn't want to write one and let everyone know how good it is so it can be a secret. Point blank I was there last June and the cabin is reserved for this June, can't wait to go back.
UPDATE: 10/ 2017 We have been back every year since posting this and still nothing negative to post except the weather one year. But that happens. Still a nice quiet lake if you like seclusion this is the spot. Have a cabin reserved for a fall trip next year just my father and I. Can't wait

Pimushe Resort is a wonderful resort on an excellent multi species fishing lake.
The beach and water rides/toys were a big hit with our kids. The cabins are clean, spacious and furnished with 'Up North' décor. There is plenty of wildlife and excellent hiking trails nearby.

The owners, Ed and Joanne, take a lot of pride in running the resort and it shows.

What a beautiful resort! Tim and Emily Norris are amazing, attentive, and kind owners! Clean cabins and that beach!!! Best beach at any resort I have visited in MN! We will be back again and again!!

This is, by far, the best resort that I've visited. The fishing & hunting is excellent, the cabins are beautiful, and there's plenty of water activities for my nephews and niece. I highly recommend Pimushe Resort to anyone looking for a trip 'up-north.'

This is the second year we have stayed at Pimushe. It is far and away the best resort in the Bemidji area. Ed, Joanne and Kendall (and Murphy the dog) are all awesome hosts.

I have hesitated in writing a review because I kind of want to keep this place a secret. It's that good. But, that would not be fair to the Fussy family. :-)

If you are looking for a nice, quiet and FUN family vacation, there is no need to look any further.

Beautiful, secluded resort. Cabins are spotless. Hand made furniture shows the care and attention to detail the owners have put in to the place.
