Lost Acres Resort

-If you're looking for centrally located fishing/shopping/eating within reasonable driving distance this is the resort for you! Did I mention the owners are wonderful & the resort is the best we've stayed in?!
Stayed here in 2016 & so glad we came back again this year. The Mahaffey's are a wonderful family. We love the resort & have already booked our cabin for next year. The cabins are always clean, with a kitchen well stocked. We forgot a potato masher called the Mahaffey's & they fixed us up with one. They also think about small things like having blackout curtains in the bedrooms which is so nice especially when we're there during the week of the summer solstice. The resort is also great for families as they have a lot of things for kiddos.
We're fisherman & did well this year. Talk to the locals for fishing & food advice.

We have been going here for three years now. We absolutely love it. It is a beautiful place that is well kept and there are plenty of amenities plus the owners are amazing people. It is a great place for a family retreat and to get out on the lake and enjoy nature.

I highly recommend Lost Acres Resort on Kitchi Lake. I have not been that relaxed in forever! It is so nice and peaceful, good fishing and Amazingly nice people!! Plus they have walking trails with cute sights. The lodge has pizza and ice cream, a pool table, a couple electronic games and books to read in case it rains. Overall, if I could have given it more than 5 stars, I certainty would have!

This was our first time at Lost Acres Resort the cabins are incredible the people that run the resort are even more incredible nothing you want they won't get awesome place will be back P.S. fishing was a little slow but the lake is awesome..

Lost Acres Resort is an amazing little resort in a quiet setting along the north shore of Kitchi Lake. We visited recently for the first time and will definitely return. If you're into camping, fishing, or just enjoying nature, this place is for you. The resort offers activities, such as canoes, kayaks, volleyball, horseshoes, water toys, and a beach with lounge chairs. The proprietors are a very nice family who puts a lot of work into making all guests feel at home.

For over 40 years our family has been coming to this MN northwoods area for vacations. We have stayed at many resorts. In 2001 we found Lost Acres and have come here ever since! It is by far our favorite place. Beautiful, clean cabins. Great, well-maintained camp spots and seasonal sites. A playground. Game room. Friendly-family lodge. Nice beach area. Wonderful fishing! The Mahaffeys have been the resort owners for 11 years and go the extra mile to be sure folks are happy customers. We also like that it's close to many things for day trips: Bemidji, Walker, Itasca State Park, Vince Shute Bear Sanctuary. There are some nice woodsy restaurants close by as well. It's a great place.

We've vacationed at several places in Northern MN, Lost Acres is a place we have to spend at least one week a year for the past several years. With Kitchi having access to so many other lakes, we have always been able to find good fishing at anytime of the year. Great cabins and peaceful surrounding make Lost Acres a perfect place to hang out with the family. Always warm and inviting,

Beautiful resort. They truly have "customer satisfaction" figured out with the many little extras they do. Cabins are awesome. Very fun place to stay.

This is are place for our family vacations. The staff is the best and always willing to help you out. The resort is so welcoming and love coming there every year. The fireworks were the best. Will be back soon

Awesome resort, great hospitality, very clean, they have everything you need to have a great week on the lake. Well worth the 1500 miles driven to get here!

Was at a wedding at lost acres resort in September. It was awesome. Amazing help from the staff and beautiful scenery. Every aspect of it was smooth and fun. Highly recommend.

Owners are great. Love the beach for kids as well as adults. Well taken care of. If you fish, which I don't, I hear its great.

Cabins are very clean. The family whom runs it are wonderful. Lots of stuff for the kids to do. Pontoons to rent. Access to other lakes. There is fun for everyone.

We had a great time!!! We are definately going back! Everyone was very friendly and always willing help! My son loved playing with the water toys they had! :)

Best resort ever! Owners are friendly and accomodating. Been coming here for about 15+ years for the July 4th week. If you ever come here during that time look for Hillbilly Korner and come say hi.

We loved our stay here. 42 dollars a night for camping but they include canoes,kayaks,paddle boats,paddle boards etc with it. It's a really nice place

GREAT FAMILY RESORT ON KITCHI LAKE. Swimming beach, docks, boat and pontoon rentals. Great fishing and access to several other lakes. Both cabin rentals and RV spaces.
