The Fort

Our server was fun and checked in on us just enough. The food was excellent! I had a mushroom and Swiss burger with fresh, locally sourced mushrooms, very tasty. Hopefully in the future they can expand on outside seating. But the inside on the bar side was very comfortable/ cozy kind of. Nice vibe. We will be back and bring people from out of town too!

Great place! Definitely would recommend! Food was perfect and atmosphere is cool! They also offer free EV charging and prices are more than fair for food for what you get! Excited to come back and try more items on the menu! Thanks!

Had an excellent experience here, and Montana took great care of us! The staff was welcoming, and the food and drink were superb (we had a bacon cheeseburger, a picante chicken burrito, cheese curds, and bloodies). We'll definitely be back when we're visiting again next year! 😋

The food was very good and arrived quick. The bartender, Montana, was very sweet and made some tasty drinks. The workers in general were very friendly. The liquor selection was surprisingly impressive and the tap beer choices were locally rad. Can’t wait to come back and visit.

We enjoyed a last minute decision to eat out and choose The Fort in Stacy. Food was great, cheese curds were awesome:) our server, Skyler was friendly and gave great recommendations!

Clint and I ate at The Fort the other day and it was so good. This is an eclectic restaurant that started as a food truck and still has a true food truck attached to it. It seems like an unlikely spot for a restaurant and yet it is working well. The ambiance is a bit darker than I would like, but this time we sat on a high top by the window and it was great. They have a great selection of tacos and burgers; as well as appetizers and craft cocktails and beers. The house merlot is really good and it is relatively inexpensive. I loved the Korean Beef Tacos that I had and Clint had a build-your-own burger that included lots of BACON and bacon jam...yum! Both times that we have been here the service has been great and we loved meeting the owner as well. Fun to have a place like this so close to home and we will definitely be back.

The Fort is a bright spot in the North Branch food and drink scene. While you can still get a burger on Tuesdays, the overall menu is gastropub focused. A mix of Caribbean, west coast, and MN fare. The staff is amazing, from the owners to the servers and bartenders. Speaking of bartenders, they have the best drinks in the area.

Loved this place! Unique, good options for pub grub, and I liked all of the personal touches to the place! Very cool 👍👍

The food here is amazing. I'm so happy they moved here from North Branch. The tiki cakes and Korean beef tacos are my favorites so far. Make sure to ask for a side of extra sauce for the tiki cakes. So good.

Lunch today to check them out - very pleased, great experience and really good food. We will definitely be back!

Always a great experience at “The Fort”! Awesome food, great staff, and inviting atmosphere! Never had a bad experience & everything on the menu is exquisite! Breakfast burger is my new favorite and the Lemon Ricotta hot cakes were fabulous!

This is our new favorite place to go! The food is made when you order it so it’s always hot and fresh. So glad we’ve found a place by home to get delicious food instead of having to drive into the cities. The cheese curds and jerk tacos are my favorite! The Hawaiian pulled pork is also a good choice.

Fantastic rueben, very tasty fish tacos and burgers done to perfection with toasty buns. Great service! Shannon was warm and welcoming and very attentive.

It's so wonderful to find good cocktails (especially Old Fashioneds) this close to home! I got the Korean Street tacos and Bruschetta flatbread. Both were delicious. Can't wait to come back to try more of their menu.

We had the most amazing service from the well informed, hard working service staff at The Fort yesterday. We did not eat but will definitely be back to try the menu. I suspect the food will be as thoughtful and well crafted as the cocktails. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm as well. This will be one of our top "go to places" from now on.

The Korean tacos are super tasty and flavorful and the housemade jalapeno poppers are a fantastic departure from your run-of-the-mill cream cheese filled ones (they toss in blue cheese as well...yum!). Definitely coming back!

Amazing food in a great atmosphere! Too many delicious signature drinks to try at one time, so I'll have to go back! Loved the Bacon and Blue Burger. Need to try the tacos next time. Would highly recommend!! Oh, and the cheesecake was great, too!

The Korean Beef Street Taco’s are what cravings are made of! The beef is so tender and flavorful and the Asian slaw is key in these street taco’s. I highly recommend this menu option. The service was friendly and fast and the atmosphere is a vibe in itself. It was my first time visiting this restaurant but it will NOT be my last!

If you love the Tiki Tim’s food truck that has been roaming around the cities for many years, this is your place! They actually do their cooking from the food truck and bring it inside.

Full bar serving local beers and fresh squeezed juices makes it even more awesome!

Their famous fish tacos are on the food menu along with burgers and appetizers.

Opening any restaurant is tough, but opening a week before the state shutdown of restaurants is unimaginable. So please help them out in this time need by ordering takeout! I wish them the best!

This place was delicious! We stopped here on our way to Ely, MN and we're sad it's not closer to home! The tacos were all amazing, and the beer and cocktail selection is impressive. They have a variety so everyone can find something they like! The crab cakes and fried dill pickle rolls are to die for. We are already planning to stop by again the next time we come through!
