Kenny's Oak Grill

I took my kids here as we heard it’s a reasonably priced restaurant with great food. It didn’t disappoint. I had the Reuben which was delicious. My son had a medium rare steak that was cooked perfectly for him. He loved his steak. My youngest got a kids cheeseburger. The burger was about the size of her face. Plenty left for leftovers later.

Those cheese curds tho!!! Make sure you get some of them. So good. The sandwich was decent. The beef patty taste fresh and you could tell it was nice quality meat. And the best for last. The peanut butter and chocolate pie I had was out of this world. So delicious!

9/25/23. Driving through Austin about lunch time. We look for the local spots and we're not disappointed. Lots of regulars enjoying lunch. Server was helpful and attentive and food was very good. Get their cheese curds. They are locally sourced and delightful. Would stop again

Local diner in Austin, serving great breakfast items. Lunch and dinner menu available as well at certain times. Too bed I wasn't in town long enough to come back and try those. They have several spam dishes that did not disappoint. Service was slow. Definitely not in a hurry. But overall, my colleagues and I had a great experience. Would definitely go back.

We came to Austin for the SPAM museum and then wanted to continue the theme with SPAM for lunch. It is hard to come by in the town which is surprising (you’d think you’d lean into it given tourists) but Kenny’s had it on their menu and had it easy to find (I guess I heard some people had it but you had to specially request it something we didn’t want to do). The place is very cute, very busy at lunch but we sat at the counter and had a great waitress. Attentive and had suggestions and the service was quick - it didn’t seem like there was a shortage of employees! Loved the spam “fries” and split the spam sandwich, both delicious and plenty to share, they don’t skimp! (Terrible pictures but sharing anyway!)

What a great experience we had at Kenny's Oak Grill! If you want an authentic throwback to a traditional Cafe feel, then this is the place. The walls are lined with local history. I highly recommend the Chicken Cluckers! The staff was amazing and friendly. I would recommend this to a friend or even a complete stranger.

We were headed to Austin to check out the SPAM Museum, and my uncle recommended that we eat at Kenny’s. We were not disappointed! Great service, great food. Try the cheese curds!

Great food an service!
This is one of those local gems you need to visit, they are one of the few restaurants that actually have SPAM dishes available. The burgers have been amazing every visit as well.

The food is great and you can tell by how busy it is! Kenny's is always hopping no matter what time of day it is. That doesnt mean you wont get excellent service though. Burgers, cheese curds and some of the best home hooked meals like what mom used to put out. This place has it all.

The atmosphere was great, the waitress knew my order even though I don't come there too frequently, and she was very good about checking on us.

Food is pretty good especially the omelettes and the fish.

Great comfort food at fair prices. They run specials and often feature a special other than the regular menu. So nice that places like this still exist!!

Great little diner. They serve delicious homestyle meals. Service is top-notch. and friendly. The seating is limited but so worth it.

The Spam fries were incredibly good and came with what tasted like a jalapeño raspberry dipping sauce and ranch. You get a ton of Spam, so its definitely shareable. The patty Melt #1 with cream cheese and green olives was delicious! I would definitely return to get that old diner feel!

Food was delicious but the best part was the friendly service. Must try the chicken tenders or fry chicken. So good!

My favorite breakfast restaurant in Austin, MN. I had the biscuits and gravy, the biscuits were fluffy and fresh with a ton of gravy on top. I added two eggs over easy with sausage links which looked to come from a local meat locker. The next day I had the chorizo omelette which actually had a spicy flavor, I did add Tabasco and salsa but I could taste the chorizo so kudos. The staff were friendly and made sure everything was good. The food was a good price for a good home style cooked meal.

Tight seating but its worth it. Best breakfast in town, on top of also being budget friendly somehow. There's a reason seating is almost always full.

Very cute atmosphere! Old fashion diner with good ol' comfort food. The staff is friendly and attentive! We love the french toast and loaded hash browns!

Great Diner experience!! Great service, great food!! Had the Spam and Cheese omelet, heavenly!! When in Austin, MN, you definitely have to try the Spam. Added perk, they use REAL eggs for the omelets❤

We went to spend the day in Austin and of course made a trip to the Spam museum. After, we went to Kenny's based upon the great reviews. We all enjoyed our meals (burger and fries, steak, broasted chicken). Then I got the biggest and tastiest hunk of coconut cream pie ever. We'll be back for sure!
