Chicken Connection

Place is a delight. Foods always up in less than ten minutes. Best deal in town for price. Chickens always great. The sides are delicious. Sometimes you can buy a homemade cookie. Make sure to get extra sour cream dip. Love it.

I come from Minneapolis, and am on business, but my mom highly recommended Chicken Connection. She grew up in Marshall throughout the 70’s and 80’s and still remembers this restaurant as very tasty and cheap.

Well, a generation/40+ years later and I am delighted to be in agreement with her. Of course in the cities there are so many options for food, but when I say that Chicken Connection is genuinely one of the best chicken places I’ve had, I mean it. That aside, you can’t beat the prices. 2 light pieces of meat with potatoes, a biscuit, coleslaw, and a beverage all for under $10… (with generous portions) unheard of, or at least in the cities’ markets.

The flavor is amazing, as well as the fact (I stopped in just before 6 on a Tuesday, for context) my wait was less than 5 minutes. Both individuals at the store were delightful and made some recommendations for me to try! Great place, ‘homey’ environment, friendly employees, and a convenient drive-thru! Truly, in my opinion, worth the 2.5 hour drive! I will be back!

This is by far the best fried chicken dinner I have ever had. Never greasy ever. The expertise that it operates is first rate service. Family owned. Love it☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Excellent ambiance of a small town and old fashioned cafe. Amazing friend chicken that isn’t too spicy, but extremely juicy. The broasted potatoes were even better, my only regret was not getting a larger sour cream. The staff was super friendly and hard working. The open kitchen could tell everything was homemade. The Chicken Connection is well worth stopping by.

Not sure why I waited so long to give them a well deserved 5 star review! It's my family's favorite place to eat. We've been coming here for over 20 years. We moved over an hour away years ago and still make numerous trips back every year to say hi to the great staff and eat at our favorite restaurant! They've been doing it too long not to be the best! Everything tastes great, the beans, potatoes and chicken are the best I've had. I hear their coleslaw is great too - I'm more of a beans and potato guy. Try it - you'll love it!

This is always a fun treat for the family. The fried chicken is cooked to perfection and the potato wedges are great with their signature dipping sauce. If you are in a hurry, call ahead and they will have it ready for you.

This place has been a staple in the Marshall community for years. Consistently awesome, done just right, very quick order times. That sour cream is kick a**!

Friendly, hard working folks providing tasty food. Ready in 10 minutes. My boys and I always get the potato wedges and the heavenly sour cream you can only get there along with tasty chicken. Get extra sour cream :). All if it is just as tasty reheated in the oven. Great place!

If you don't know the little yellow house on Main Street, you should! We visit Marshall fairly often and just found Chicken Connection today . . . and so glad we did! WOW! The chicken is THE BEST around. The potato wedges with the sour cream dip!!! What an awesome side treat!!! I've found my new 'go-to' when I'm in Marshall! Great food. Generous portions. Friendly service! (The kind lady at the window even provided directions to a nearby park so we could sit down and enjoy our food! "Thank You!") I can't wait till next time!

Best chicken ever eaten. Well worth waiting for if you have the time to wait. Have never had under or over done chicken. Broasted potato with their own recipe dip is great. Would like the potatoes all cut thinner. Big slices are not as tastey.

I don't even know where to begin to describe the incredibly scrumptious tasting chicken from here. It's so juicy and tender that one bite leaves you in an euphoric state of complete savory bliss. I'm a pretty lean guy at 5'7" and weighing in at a buck 75, but i can sit down and indulge in a 8 piece box by myself. It's just that damn good. If you have a bucket list, make sure the Chicken Connection is on it. I would of post some pictures but all that's left is bones.

Homey, Friendly and Familiar. They do something different, they stand out. The potato wedges are done the same way as the chicken, provides great flavor and texture. Make sure you get the sour cream, its seasoned - even if you think you don't like sour cream. The coleslaw is familiar and comforting. Must visit if you are head to or thru marshal. This small business is family owned. Has a drive thru. Family an personal orders and deals are available. Friendly staff, create a strong sense of community

my wife and I were passing through Marshall and staying at the motel behind the store. we stopped in for lunch. we each got the special, one dark meat, one white meat. the food was hot, fresh. and tasty. the owner (older gentleman) was very friendly and helpful. he swapped out her coleslaw with potato salad, which was excellent as was the slaw. if we lived in the area, this would be a regular place for us to eat.

Chicken Connection was very easy to work with and fed our entire college football team for a reasonable price. The guys loved it and went home with full bellies. Thanks Chicken Connection!

Yummy!!! I love their broasted chicken! Price is reasonable and chicken came out hot and fresh! Definitely a go to!!!

Came in about a half hour before close, staff was friendly, food was made fresh and was delicious. Some of the best chicken I've ever had, including home made. Glad I stumbled upon this place!

I was in dought about the quantity of food, I should have never second guessed the best chicken house around, large portions chicken breast,,cold slaw, Potato wedges,dinner roll and it was very fresh, the service was very friendly but yet professional. My friend and I were treated like we had been friends with them forever. We laughed flirted and laughed some more. WE ARE GLAD WE STORED THERE IT WAS WHAT PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE AND A FULL BELLY.

Chicken and all of the sides were really good and affordable. Had a very large meal for 4 adults for about $30 - even threw in some cookies, they we're just okay (I'd say spend that on another side or more chicken)
