Georges Pizza

Great pizza! Love that they still have a place to let kids watch pizza being made!! We are from the Chicago area and it is pretty neat to be able to get decent pizza in such a randomn place!

My family stopped on our way from KS to Wisc and were very pleased. Our kids loved the pizza stand where they could watch the pizzas being made. They also loved the cheese pizza! My husband and I shared the George’s Special pizza and really enjoyed it. Great location. Friendly service.

George's is an institution in Austin. I grew up in the area and it was always a treat to go there. Now, whenever we visit, we find ourselves juggling schedules around to make sure we can go to George's. The George's Special is my favorite. Fantastic pizza!

George's is always good food and service. Eating in or picking up, you can't really go wrong with them!

Historic pizzaria with great community ties. The pizza is amazing with a crisp thin crust and the gondola sandwiches are fantastic! Everything on the menu is great!

Point of view from someone who is from Michigan just stopping by for a weekend who is well traveled and well versed in pizza... Holy wow. I got their house version of a Supreme pizza. It blew my socks off. It was hands down the best pizza I've ever had. The pizza was delivered hot and the thin crust snapped and crunched perfectly with every bite. You can tell the sauce is fresh and so are the ingredients. I'd drive 8.5 hours again just to eat their pizza. I came here for the hockey but will return for the pizza. Thank you for a great late night dinner!!

I have driven over 200 miles to eat there. My ex-wife has made the same trip with our 4 kids. It’s the only place they all want to eat. Gondolas are legendary! Pizza is the best I’ve ever had. Been telling people about the place for 25 yrs. Not one person has been disappointed...

I have eaten here since what is a child. The food has always been delicious. The pizza tonight however was phenomenal! I ordered a Beckel Special and can without a doubt say that is the best pizza I've ever eaten in my life. I love loved it. I'm finishing it up right now! Pleasant courteous staff! Decent price's. Can't go wrong! I'll be back soon!

I love George's Gondolas - they are wonderful! Ordered 5 for my family and a large pizza tonight and there was a mix up with the order. When we got here and the food wasn't ready, they gave us free cheesy bread and drinks, apologizing for the mix up. Great customer service and would definitely come back.

I have been eating this pizza all my life. It is the best thin crust pizza in the world. It has changed owners 3 times and they smartly, keep the recipes the same. I'd recommend trying the George's Special (their sausage is the best) or a beef and onion with extra cheese. Whenever I'm in Minnesota, I make a special trip to Austin just to have some.

I grew up in Austin and now live in Ankeny, IA. Was in Austin for the day so ordered a half baked house special to take home and finish, that I picked up on the way out of town. Still the best pizza I ever had……..and there are some damn good pizzerias in Ankeny and Des Moines.

The pizza at George's was amazing. Thin crust loaded with toppings. A new must stop when we visit Austin. It was highly recommended and we weren't disappointed. If you like sausage on pizza, they make their own and it's awesome.

One of the best Restaurants in Austin. Nice local place in a city dominated by chains. I really like it.

Update: order pizza on the phone for pickup when we arrived it wasn't done and was going. To be another 25 minutes. Manager comped us free garlic cheese bread and drinks while we waited. Great customer service.

Great place! Local owners. Great service. And awesome pizza. Can always get a constant reliable experience! A regular favorite of ours. No hype, just great pizza and service.

Great as always. We are from Appleton WI so unfortunately we can only get here a couple of times a year when we visit our daughter's family. Wonderful thin crust, tasty sauce, delicious homeade sausage & lots of cheese. We especially like the George's Special. The Cheesy Garlic Bread is also a must. Friendly service & efficient "pizza makers". A pitcher of Blue Moon, garlic bread, our pizza & we are all good! Yum.🍻🍕

Grew up eating pizza here at the original location. Glad to see the original ovens still in use and that the pizzas are still made in the unique way since day one using the same delicious recipes for sauce and sausage.
