My friends and I were visiting this week from out of state and we absolutely fell in love with adorable book store! I think each of the four of us talked with owner at length about different things. She was knowledgeable and very sweet. We all bought several books and other things as well...The selection is quite large with a little bit of everything. We all can't wait to come back some day to do more shopping here!

Went in with my kids after a Spam museum visit, and it’s a neat little place, with some super affordable books. The owner (i believe) was a truly delightful person. She gave us bookmarks, had a super amazing deal on the used books, and just truly made the trip memorable. Very fun experience for us.

Amazing collection of books - really loved the big section of Minnesota authors; I bought a children’s used book as a gift & it came wrapped in brown paper with ribbon. Interesting place!

Sweet reads an amazing book shop. There is a huge collections of book. And they have very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We are very glad to visiting the book shop.

This shop is cozy, warmly appointed, inviting, and lovely. Lisa, the proprietor, is equally warm and lovely. A sweet soul runs Sweet Reads. Austin is a touch out of the way, but she has earned a loyal customer today.

This is absolutely the best book store I have been in ever! Wonderful offering of every book possible! I was so impressed with the shop keeper who was able to help all of us and make us each feel we were blessed with her knowledge and assistance! I drove over from Rochester today and happened upon this treasure! Thank you for taking time to help me find gifts for my niece and great nieces who plan to visit from AZ. The unique books I was able to find with her assistance could only be found in MN! Thank you! I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Small bookstore located in Austin, MN. Very supportive of local authors. (There are quite a few!) Impressive support of community charities! Store owner is a lovely lady with a friendly demeanor. You'll feel very welcome here. Remarkable selection of new, current books! Also a sweet section of children's /adult used books in the back. Your purchases are wrapped in paper with ribbon-- making it a very gift-like presentation. ♥ Great customer service.

The lady (owner?) was so sweet and friendly!! Such a cute store with great selection! The museum in the back was cool too! They have live music some times,, too! Such a lovely place right across form the Spam Museum! Come by here and say hidden!

Perfectly arranged for discovering your next great read. Friendly staff and fantastic customer service. She even wrapped my purchase in brown paper and curling ribbon.

This is the sweetest little store with a wonderful owner! I brought my daughters in to pick out some books and Lisa took the time to sit down and read the girls at least 4 or 5 books. They loved the attention and interaction with her. Such a wonderful little spot

This is one of my favorite book stores I have been to. There was such a large amount of books to buy and this city is lucky to have this place. I would love to go back and get more books in the future. I would recommend this place to another in the area.

I’ve always been a fan of little locally owned bookshops and this one does not disappoint. The owner is a gem of a person and will order anything for you if she doesn’t have it. Anyone visiting Austin is missing out if they don’t stop by!

This bookstore was welcoming and full of little surprises. There were books for people of all ages, and they had beautiful jewelry as well. The owner was very friendly and gift-wrapped our books for us without charge which made it extra special. 10/10. If you are ever in the area you should definitely stop here.

A nice little book store with so many books! New and used, we found a couple great bargains for the kids, and the kind lady even individually wrapped them each up. If you're looking for a book, highly recommend you pick it up here! There's a little reading area in the back along with what I assume is an ever changing "museum" display, currently someone's Star Wars collection.

I stopped by while in town, it was a nice store and the owners were even nicer! I asked for recommendations and they were great!! I love the care they took in wrapping everything as well. I highly recommend!

Absolutely adorable little spot. The owner is really wholesome and makes you smile. The used books are actually priced very modestly. Had a wonderful time looking around and selecting what I wanted without feeling rushed in anyway.
