Your very reasonable $7 adult admission (cash payments help keep their costs down) provides you with a personally guided tour by a docent with enjoyable storytelling abilities; access to the gallery walls at the Visitors Center; a visit to the house for old folks, a National Historic Landmark; and a walk of the grounds where you can view Tubman's home (currently under renovation) she shared with her second husband. Highly recommend a visit here!

Not much to see in the house but the guide Paul did a marvelous job of recapping the life and accomplishments of Harriet Tubman Davis!

The boarding house is open but the actual Tubman house is undergoing restoration.

An ongoing feud between the AME Church and the National Park Service over control and management of the site likely holds it back from reaching its full potential.

The visitor center and house are only open at 10 and 2 and prior arrangements are encouraged, limiting public accessibility.

I loved the curator at the museum. He gave a fabulous rendition of Harriet’s life with lots of animation. It was interactive and educational. The cost was $5 very well spent. I viewed the first floor of Harriet’s home from the inside and the original barn and another house from the outside. Currently, they're being restored. Unfortunately, you can’t take pictures inside the home but can take them outside. I would highly recommend this if you're in the area. Also, the grounds are very well maintained and pleasant.

This place is great. It’s a partner of the national park service so you won’t really see rangers here often. It helps if you call ahead for the tour. I didn’t and that worked out because I guess in February not many people want to be outside.

The tour itself is the only real way to learn about Harriet Tubman unless you are really into reading plaques. On the tour you are guaranteed to to learn at least one new thing about HT. It was simply put, the best tour I’ve had in ages!

Also they have a passport stamp.

The visitors center is not open regularly, I think just for tours. There in a great timeline of Harriet’s life inside though.

My wife and I have experienced the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Driving Byway in Cambridge Maryland. We visited this landmark in Auburn New York to travel Harriet Tubman's journey on our way up to Canada. The docent Paul did a outstanding job of explaining the struggle of those enslaved and Harriet Tubman's bravery to assist in their escape for freedom. We also visited her grave site to give homage to a such a brave and honorable woman. Keep up the great work you do by maintaining these historical landmarks for future generations to experience and hopefully we can return upon completion of the renovations to her home. I recommend this tour if you want to gain understanding why she has been chosen to be the face to join past Presidents on our US Currency.

It was just amazing to go see one of the many ways women have contributed & sacrificed to make this nation wonderful. To right wrongs & fight injustices.

A work in progress as far as historic sites go but definitely worth the visit. Hosted by a masterful story teller who really brings this amazing human being to life!

If you go, be sure to get the tour at 10:00 or 2:00. It is a remarkable journey of an incredible woman told by an excellent storyteller who's been here for 33 years. I consider this a don't miss situation truly extraordinary!!

Wonderful tour guide with a wealth of knowledge about Tubman and the property. Be prepared to get engaged and learn some things. Tour the white house which was used as a boarding house. Tubman's actual home is under restoration and so not tourable. You can still walk around the outside of it.

This is a work in progress. I highly recommend the twice daily talk and tour. The talk is a very engaging and enlightening about the life, times and many accomplishments of Harriet Tubman. Well worth the time and money.

Even though I missed the tour, it was totally worth going. Tons of info and pics and a very gracious host named Paul. History of the era was made more complete by visiting here. Go, and you will learn something you didn't already know about U.S. history.

We had a great tour. The gentleman that did the tour was a very good presenter. I am sure he could hold the interest of any age group. Harriette Tubman was one tough lady. Her story is a real inspiration.
