Newport Thrift Shoppe

I am not sure who these Karens are, complaining. This store is run and operated by retired volunteers who themselves have their own set of health problems. The store has a lot of glass on shelves, so perhaps you shouldnt let your children run around.
and if a shop doesnt allow customers to take photos, you should respect that, it's not a big deal. many businesses, especially those run by older people dont like it.
the staff has always been super kind, courteous and chatty with me. I go here at least once a week.

It was spaced and marked clearly which was a big help. At the front door, there is a list of what they take for donations which I found very helpful and a cart - which I mistook for a cart to use for shopping! Lol All volunteer and I left with a 25cent book and plus-size dark grey slacks by Worthington for $4. Darn good haul.

Cute little thrift store. Mainly for older people, but sometimes you can find a steal. I like to find bargain books and children’s books here personally, and home items. It’s not a very big place, as Newport itself is small, but it’s nice. The women that help run it are always so sweet!

I have seen several comments that put into perspective just how I feel about the old judgmental women who run this store. They do not tolerate anyone who is out of the norm, they talk very disrespectful and loud about the customers right where other customers can hear it loud and clear. These women are awful and I will NEVER shop there again. Maybe you shouldn't either.

The owners are disrespectful. It was my first time there with my friends and I didnt knoe their shop rules. When my friend took a picture of me when trying on their vlothes I was yelled at by an owner. And when I confronted her later she was making up stoeies about us taking "tons of photos of customers" while we were there. Never shopping there again.

Poor customer service and for yelling at my four year old son this place is a disappointment the owner needs to shut the store down for attacking people with health problems and for yelling at children
