This is THE undiscovered gem of a northwoods bar. I hesitate to post this because I don’t want anyone else to know about it. Full bar, limited wine and decent beer choices. And pudding shots to die for!!

Here's the deal folks. Nothing like it and a one of a kind lakeside joint. ATV Stop: check, Pontoon Party Stop: check, Fun Bar Stop: check, Best Bar Merch Ever: check. Julie and Dave provide great hospitality and have revived this classic joint established in 1947. Hot picks: The Seaman's Bloody, Pudding Shots, Popcorn and any beer cause it's cold...

I adore this place. The atmosphere, beautiful view and incredible staff make it a MUST stop every weekend. You won't find a better barstaff.

"Can't beat" this place! Awesome owner really makes you feel welcome. Great cozy bar with a great view of the Minong flowage. They have docks too so you can come by boat also! Don't forget to have a pudding shot!

Stopped in for a beer and stayed for 3 - the owner Julie was super friendly as were the other patrons sitting at the bar. It was a fun vibe with a lot of people in and out throughout the couple hours we were there. We'll definitely be coming by boat next summer to dock up and enjoy this place.

Our favorite place to go when we are at the cabin! Julie & Dave have done a phenomenal job of creating such a fun and welcoming resort / bar! Beautiful view of the flowage at sunset with a drink in hand!

Not a place to read the reviews to go to. Just go there. Classic on the water Wisconsin resort bar. You're probably meeting your buddy that was at sand island with a pontoon boat to get a world famous pudding shot. Or... It's in the two mile radius of the downtown wascott bars and it's the next stop. Buy a shirt. You were going to anyways

My wife and I went for a drive and happened on seaman's resort......what can I say. Great place to sit and relax beside the minong flowage surrounded by miles of pine forests. Absolutely gorgeous setting you won't be disappointed. Owners were very friendly and offered unbeatable hospitality. Thank you Dave and Julie!!! 5 stars.

Packing up to leave after another week, noticed I didn't have trailer lights on my boat. Dave spent 30 mins with me until we got them fixed. Think any other resort would do that? Best people!

Pudding shots are the best! Place is always packed even though we are outside, friendly staff. A must stop when you are on the trails.

This place is so much fun! Beautiful setting, great drinks, hilarious merchandise and the friendliest bartender around!

What's not to like?! Creative bar tenders, reasonable prices, fun hot dogs, weekend BBQ food truck, & Saturday morning bootcamp.

Great prices and service from the bartenders. The owners walked around and talked to people which is extremely rare for bars in the area. The bar is just feet from the water and the outdoor seating has the best view of the lake!

Was up their for a memorial gathering and it was great. Great to see the owners and many other people that we knew.
