Greenport Theatre

We absolutely enjoyed seeing "Fly Away Home" at the Greenport Theater. It was interesting learning about the NY Film Institute and we were grateful that there was an interest by local businesses to support the availability of the theater. Another treat was seeing some of the original fixtures in the lobby and elsewhere. We definitely felt a connection given that my father worked there for so many years. There was a nice crowd..lots if children....and it was fun to hear their applause at the end!

Just saw the uncut version of It's a Wonderful Life for the first time ever. They did a great job restoring the theater and a great service to the community with these movies they show.

The best atmosphere that can never be replaced with the new theaters makes you feel so comfortable like the old days

It is wonderful to have this theater in town. The urinals in the Men's Room are astonishing and worth the price of admission.

I saw A Hard Day's Night, Help, Bye Bye Birdie, A Shot In The Dark, etc - there and remember when then bathrooms were purple and green - now only the purple urinals remain.

I love this old fashioned movie theater and wish it was open year round. So nostalgic and perfect.

it is a classic movie theatre. And if you see A movie on release day you go upstairs and it looks like an autoteourium the disadvantage is there is no cup holders

Absolutely beautiful, classic theater with a very nice art gallery in one corridor.

Nostalgic Theater. Open during summer only, great staff hosting newly released movies and community events.

Take in a movie and be charmed by Greenport's classic gem of a theatre. I wish its season was longer..
