I brought my SUV here under unusual and unexpected circumstances, I'm from out-of-state and had been camping in Lake George over the recent holiday weekend. My car had started making a horrible grinding sound so I called first thing when they opened on Tuesday, and I'm glad I did. They were able to get me right in as soon as I could get there, had the problem solved quickly and I could tell while I waited (around an hour or so) that this is a top quality establishment, family-owned and truly a trustworthy place to bring my car. The kind of place the repeat local customers bring donuts into for the crew there. Randy was a pleasure to interact with and he charged me a very reasonable price for a service I felt was worth its weight in Gold. Now I'm back in Massachusetts wishing my new favorite garage wasn't 3.5hrs away.

I could not have asked for better service. My tiny trailer came unhitched on the Northway. Between the troopers and warren county sheriffs they brought me to this garage to replace my connector for lights on the trailer. They took care of me on a holiday weekend!! I was in and out and operational to continue my travels to lake Champlain in about a half hour. It was service above and beyond !! Thank you again.

Randy, I’m guessing the owner or co owner, did me a super solid. Him and the other mechanics were still working on my car and, after noticing my my concern about being late to an appointment, he offered to let me use his car. To say the least, I was greatly appreciative, and won’t be taking my car anywhere else for service.

We were on our way to Albany to catch our flight home when we noticed a huge hole in the tread of a front tire on our rental. We pulled into Viele's and they bent over backwards to get us (a one-off customer) back on the road quickly. Nice people, good service!! We made our flight.

They handled both of our vehicles in a timely fashion, really pleased with service so much so we had them order tires for one of our vehicles and will have the other one done in a month or two. Looking forward to them handling all of our maintenance.

I have a 2014 F250 diesel that was having some problems over a weekend trip to Lake George. I called them Monday morning as soon as they opened. They told me to bring the truck in as soon as I could and they would try to have it done by the end of the day. 6hrs later, we got our truck back and we were able to drive home to Ohio. They may not be the cheapest in the area, but I highly recommend!

Great service even when giving us bad news, lol. They were able to get us taken care of so we weren't stranded.

I was stranded 3 hours away from home and my truck broke down. All the places around turned me away to help me out. Vieles took me in during my emergency and fixed my truck even with their busy schedule. Truly amazing people there.

Randy and his team at Viele's are the best. If you have an urgent issue, they always do their best to fit you in last minute to prevent you from being stranded. Everyone who works there is competent, courteous and nice. Their work is top notch, and their prices are very fair. Have been here many times, always leave happy. 100% recommended.

We were traveling from out of town, on vacation, and they did all they could to help me get on my way. Very thankfull AAA recommended them! I highly recommend them.

I am a summer resident here in the Lake George area (from South Carolina) and needed a complete brake job. I have dealt with the Mavis type shops previously and was never completely satisfied. Not so with these folks. Randy was great to work with and described what needed to be done. They did a fantastic job and a very reasonable price. We came into the Lake George area with car issues that popped up just as we arrived! Finding a place to check the engine to see what the problem was and then service our car became a real issue. Luckily we found Viele's. They were able to get us in within days (not weeks!) and do the repairs quickly. We are very pleased. I highly recommend them for their customer service, professionalism and automotive expertise.

I got a flat outside of Warrensburg yesterday afternoon and was towed right to Viele's. Randy came out, greeted me, went and found a tire that fit and within 20 minutes I was on my way. The service was fast and friendly and Randy was fantastic to deal with. It was the end of the day, basically about 20 minutes before their closing time, and they didn't hesitate to help me out. The service was incredibly affordable too; I am convinced that they charged me way less than another shop might have. I highly recommend Viele's to anyone needing mechanical work.

This past winter my car died a few miles outside of town while I was on a ski trip. I had it towed to Viele’s and the next morning the shop had diagnosed the belt & alternator issues. I had to leave town on a quick timetable and the family at the shop was able to track down parts and get the work done expeditiously. The family were wonderful to deal with and good people.
