Welcome was great, efficient and friendly. Spot /area clean and level. Store was a little low on stock but still good variety. We bought hotdogs and buns for chili dogs!
Yes we heard a train but it didn’t wake us or anything. We run a small fan at night so that provides a great white noise background.
We recommend this campground and would stay again.

The customer service here was great, the staff were very kind! Our children enjoyed the playground, pool, and jumping pillow.

Many sites were narrow and some were quite short, but it was very manageable for our overnight stay during our trip. The staff did alert us that our spot was narrow and could be difficult to maneuver into, the heads up was great.

There is the highway noise and we heard the train one time. This is something that we anticipated from previous reviews. The noise didn't keep us awake at night.

Overall, this was a great place to stop and relax.

Great campground, friendly staff, good facilities.

The spots are small and close to each other, but with enough space to set everything up, also have trees to provide some shade when needed.

It has K9 camp, playground, laundry, bathroom was neat and clean.

The free coffee is a nice touch. 😍

We had a smooth booking using the app and a easy late night check-in.

It's super close to the highway, so it can be a bit noisy for those who are light sleepers.

We did only a quick 1 night stop over but the park was very nice.
The staff was super friendly and efficient.
Pool looked really nice (we didn't swim). There is a playground area & inflatable jumping pad things for kids.
We had a great big pull-thru site (#41) full hook-ups 30amp, it was perfect, didn't even have to unhook our towed vehicle.
I'm not sure of the local things to do, but walking around the park was nice and peaceful especially for a holiday weekend.
And just down the road from the park is a Prairie Dog Town.

Facilities are some of the best I’ve ever seen. We stayed 4 nights mid July. The laundry room, showers, restrooms and the pool! Everything is well managed and so clean. The customer service is incredible!

Yes the park is next to the highway and a train comes by. That is no fault to the KOA, and they have earplugs if you need. The little noise we noticed didn’t bother us at all.

This is a nice KOA. The spots are gravel but level and easy to access. Our spot had a sewer connection on either end with water and electricity in the middle. This allows you to pull into the spot from either direction.

There is a playground and pool outside as well as a game room inside. The laundry is small with 4 washers and 4 dryers but it seemed adequate for the demand. The store has most of the essentials you may need.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Sites are long and nearly level. Plenty of green grass for play time and dog walking. Many family amenities. Nearest gas is 10 miles away. Mosquitoes are a bit of a problem, but not much can be done about them. Would surely stay here again.

Amazing stay at Big Timber/Greycliff KOA! Staff was friendly, efficient and helpful throughout my stay. The property is located next to the highway and railway, but that’s KOA urban camping! I was in a cabin w AC and a fan and use earplugs so slept like a baby! Easy to get to with beautiful huge trees, an excellent camp store and it’s close to some great parks and nature.

Staff very helpful at check-in making staying the night here a breeze. Right off the interstate and actually not as noisy as one would think. Great place to lay your head down if you’re passing through.

(Stayed two nights May of 2023) Our family absolutely loves this spot! We've stayed two times now once with a large 40ft fifth wheel and this time with a 32ft motorhome towing an suv. No issues getting in and out. Tons of stuff for the kids to do! The jumping pillow is a big hit for the whole family and the grounds are beautiful
to enjoy walk around with a little creek, green grass and tall trees. Showers are clean, laundry works well. Well stocked store and snack bar. Helpful friendly staff. Recommend visiting the Grey Cliff Mill down the road and the Big Timber Bakery! The Crazy Mountains are worth the hour drive!!

We have stayed here several times over the past couple years, we love it! The bathrooms are always super clean and all the workers are nice. The kids love all the things they have to play with.

This was my first real solo camping trip. I was nervous. On my 2nd night, there was a storm. Absolutely terrifying. The next day the weather continued and my tent broke. I came back to the campground and was devastated (brand new, highly rated tent). Immediately they came over and tried to help me fix it, but when it was obvious it wasn’t going to work, they helped me move all my stuff to a cabin. First and foremost, these are good people working.

They also are helpful recommending places to try out.

I also met fantastic people in the campground and everyone was respectful and quiet.

Bathrooms are clean. Store is thoughtfully stocked.

Definitely would come back!!

Pulled in at 1030 pm and was still able to get a really nice campsite. Nice amenities and very nice Koa attendants. Woke up to the locals sunning above us, very nice to see natural looking campgrounds and surrounding beauty. Next time we will go into greycliffe proper and visit the mills. Putting this one on the list of return I-90 sleepovers. Left some kindness rocks around for others to find they have travelled on average 10,000 miles. Enjoy 😉

During our cross-country move, we stayed here for a night, and it was most enjoyable! We tent camped, had a nice firepit, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. Our 10-year old niece enjoyed the jumping pad and pool. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The four staff members, including the new owner, were very knowledgeable and friendly. I was a little concerned about the train, but it didn't bother any of us! A perfect camping experience!

This is one of the finest KOA Journey RV parks we have stayed in since we started 6 month a year camping 20 years ago. Forget all of the previous reviews you have read. The new owners have created a very nice camping experience. The sites are all bordered by grass and are mostly level. Their are large trees in a lot of the spaces, but satellite friendly sites as well. All in all a beautiful landscaped park. The owners are very friendly and helpful should you need it. The train and traffic noise is far less then expected because of the tree and bushes buffer zone. It didn’t bother us at all. We stayed two nights in a class A motorhome.👍👍👍👍

Great campground with numerous fantastic amenities! Locally owned, the staff was top shelf. Especially Josh! We couldn't find a hotel in the entire state of Montana for less than $300/night and no campsites available anywhere. Luckily Josh had a patch of grass for us even tho I called after the office was closed. Then he called me back after someone cancelled their res and got us a site with full hookups. Highly recommended!! Thanks again Josh!!

Our overnight stay was great. There are a lot of trees which helps with the ambiance. Most KOAs have been RV parking lots but this one is different. Right on the highway and next to trains tracks so it can be somewhat noisy. But I didn't find it to be too bad even being sound sensitive.

We had a great experience. The staff( Amanda, Beth and Josh) were super helpful with info on the local attractions. We enjoyed getting to know each one. We were there for several days and really enjoyed the free fresh made coffee every morning and the pizza oven. It sure made fixing dinner easy!!

We booked this campground for a 1 night stay on our way to Glacier National Park. We were not expecting much, just a place to camp for the night. Wow! Our expectations were exceeded! This KOA is beautiful! The office/store has been remodeled and is amazing! The staff are all super friendly. The campground is very clean and the grounds are well cared for. If you are pulling a smaller travel trailer you will want to book site #65 or #63. Just book it and thank me later 😁

Great signage to guide you into the campground. Easy off and on to Interstate. Friendly helpful staff, they guide you to your campsite. Very clean and well maintained restrooms, showers and laundry. Will stay here again when traveling through.
