Krull's Deer Path Resort

OMG!! What an excellent experience!! My husband, daughter, and I stayed over Memorial Day and met a group of friends . . . the cabin was "rustic" and spotless!! The owners went out of their way to make sure everything, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, was perfect!! The fishing on the lake was beyond spectacular!! We couldn't get our rods baited fast enough!! The blue gill fish fry we had was spectacular! Great cleaning facility!! Campgrounds were clean and finished. Felt very safe sending the kids on their own. The horses were a bonus!! The kids loved them (so did the adults)!!!! Will definitely be returning!!!! Can't wait!!!!

We have stayed at Deer Path Resort several times over the past few years. We love the fishing! Our favorite part is getting to see all of the bald eagles. Each cabin has been clean and well maintained. Jay & Sue are amazing hosts. Can't wait for our next trip back!

My family and I rented Cubs Den for over two months this past winter. We left our gear, sleds and provisions in the cabin. So nice not have to worry about loading and unloading after a three hour drive. We loved being right on the snowmobile trail! Jay and Sue are the perfect hosts. So kind, and caring. It snows a lot, as you can image, and they both worked so hard to ensure we had clean walk ways. Above and beyond! Cabins are clean, well appointed, and cozy. We have already booked Birch View for next riding season. The other folks that stayed there, top notch - we all had dinner together toward the end of the season. So many great memories.
FYI ~ Our friends, also with two kids rented Otter's Lair. They have nothing but great things to say as well.
We made great friends for many years to come!

Amazing, relaxing, beautiful! We were there during peak Fall colors. We'll be back.
Update... Just back from another lovely week at this resort. The owners are super friendly and anxious to please. The horses love carrots, just saying.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Deer Path for the first time and for me to say we will return is an understatement!

Cabins and grounds are very clean and well maintained. Owners are very friendly and will make you feel right at home during your stay with them! The beach is an awesome amenity for kids to play with plenty of lounging for adults near by to keep an eye on the little ones. Lake is not over crowded which we loved as well and the cabins had everything we could have possibly needed and then some to make a very seamless stay.

Would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a very relaxed and family friendly environment with fantastic owners who will treat you like their own! We will without a doubt be returning 😍

We were planning on staying 2 nights but wound up staying 2 weeks and watched the leaves change and had a wonderful time. Clean, quiet, and a perfect location to explore the woods driving and hiking. A beautiful lake to canoe on. Wonderful, responsive hosts.

I just returned from a week at Deer Path Resort on Upper Lake Buckatoben. We stayed in an enormous 2 bedroom upper flat. It was very clean upon arrival, with things like dish soap, hand soap, a flashlight, nightlight, bedding, box fans, kitchen towels and dishcloth all provided, each bedroom had very large closets with hangers. My only complaint would be some issues with checking in, loud noise from the family staying in the unit below us keeping us all awake two nights until well after midnight and the lack of a picnic type table for each unit. That said, the cabins are very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, the grounds are lovely and well maintained, the surrounding wooded areas are perfect for enjoying nature and the lake is still incredibly beautiful. I strongly recommend making a reservation!

I absolutely love it I have been going all my life and my dad has been going all his life and we always have a blast be sure to also check out the village not to far away hope you have a good time

Great hosts, were very helpful and considerate. Rented a boat, do not regret it at all. We caught 7 9+ inch crappie, our personal record smallmouth, over 15 largemouth, and 7 bullheads off the dock at night. Wonderful experience and will 100% come back again soon.

Had a wonderful time with family at the resort. It was awesome to have a ponton available for rent. Clean cabins and beautiful lake.

I was really impressed with how clean the cabin was. Everything was very nice and new. Had wifi and tv. Was right on the lake. Would recommend to friends.
