Nel's Bi-Lo Market

I’m not actually sure I want to review because I prefer that these small markets keep their character as a small market. I just had the best experience there though. Staff was super helpful and polite, the store was clean and organized. Their meat is cut and ground in house, they have a small deli with hot and cold foods, lots of locally sourced items like eggs, milk, meat etc. good looking produce at a competitive price to box stores with a much calmer and quiet atmosphere. They even have meals ready to cook that are prepared in house. The prep area is even open to public view and very clean. I live in Blackfoot but work in Pocatello and will be doing my staple shopping here at this store.

This place is awesome, the store manager was very helpful in replacing some bad potato’s I bought. Plus sold me an amazing piece of prime rib. I definitely recommend this store

My family loves to stop at Nel's Bi-Lo on our way home. We live near by and it's close enough to walk to.We love to shop local and it's nice that we live so conveniently close. I've always been met with friendly smiles and good service, and I feel strongly that they have the best deli fried chicken in town.

Tonight in particular, I made it there a little later than I intended and they were out of fried chicken. My son was really excited about it, and the workers in the deli were kind enough to make us a fresh batch. It was delicious and completely worth the wait! Our cashier was also very friendly and kind to my son that was being quite talkative. Thank you for such a wonderful experience and tasty dinner, Bi-Lo!

Best local grocery market. Also have really good lunches at there deli for great prices.

The best small grocery store around. Better meat than the major stores. Clean. If they don't have they will order it for you.

We love this store that often sells things you might not find elsewhere. It feels as though we step back in time to see friendly and familiar faces and enjoy a simple, and delightful environment in which to shop. One thing people often miss is the delicious deli in the back. They have daily specials and they never disappoint with comfort food taste and big portions of delightful bites. The meat department is one of a kind! Apparently they are the ONLY CERTIFIED Angus beef place in town. They are local and a business we plan to fully support. Go check it out!

My husband and I wanted to try raw milk for the first time, and this is the only place in town that sells it. We also bought cheese, which was at a pretty big discount. The raw meat selection was also ok, comparable to Ridley's. We bought some chicken on sale to make for our dog. Overall, the store has a nice 'family-owned' vibe, and due to it's humble size, only really carries the essentials. They sell the "Food Club" brand, which has a great selection for a significantly lower price, but is sold at Ridley's usually for a bit cheaper. Great alternative if you don't want to go to the big box stores and you want a less busy experience.

I LOVE their meals-in-a-box program. It is very affordable and a huge time saver. One of the greatest conveniences I never knew I needed in my life. There is no need to sit down and plan a meal menu for the week, or have to drag my young daughter through the grocery store and tell her no a million times to all the things she wants to sneak in the cart. Great store, great staff, can’t live without em!

We ordered their Thanksgiving meals for 25 people. The food was absolutely amazing. Made from scratch and delicious tasting. We had food left over and we're thrilled at how inexpensive the dinner cost. I would highly recommended Nels Bi lo. My family and I will definitely order this dinner next year

If I could give this place more I would. You can find most of the things you are looking for. They have insanely good pre made meals and meals you put in the crock pot/instant pot. They have an amazingly good selection of produce and veggies that are preseasoned and ready to cook. The spices they have are top notch. The meat here is always very fresh. The highlight though, is the owner and employees. They are helpful, kind and inform you of things you wouldn't expect. They will grind custom sausage if you give them the ingredients. They will also help you find niche spices you can't find in the grocery store. Overall, this store offers a bigger selection thank most bug name stores. the bonus is the employees are crazy helpful and so is the owner.

Tiny but I love the healthy food and allergy-friendly variety that can be found here! The meat shop in the back seems Angus-certified beef (among other things) in up to 70 lbs bulk packages. Great little local market!

For a small store it has a really great variety of items. Produce was beautiful. Everything seems pretty well priced. Staff was friendly.

It's a great little Mom & Pop store. The thing that makes it special is the meat department. Good selection and excellent prices with a staff that is exceptional in doing custom cuts and wraps! We've shopped many places for meat and we've decided that Bi-Lo's is the best!

Bi-Lo is a nice little grocery store. They definitely don't have the selection for me to shop here exclusively each week, but they offer a good variety for what little space they have to work with. There are only a few aisles in the store.

They really shine with their great fresh meats and some of their specialty local dairy offerings.

In general a great place to at least check out sometime.

We stopped in while travelling to get our 13 month old some natural milk. First we made the mistake of buying raw homogenized milk and they let us return it. Then we accidentally bought pasteurized homogenized regular milk, and they let us return it/swap it out for what we meant to buy in the first place....non homogenized pasteurized milk. Great selection and super helpful. Will recommend and return when we are in the area.

Absolutely the best small, privately owned grocery store in town! Visit for great meat, local produce & homemade cookies. Socially aware, has provided several hours for immune compromised folks & elders. One of first to do so.

I think this is my favorite grocery store in town, even though I don't get over this way much. They catered their fried chicken at a business meeting I attended, and it was the best I've ever had! Friendly staff, interesting inventory, even "draft" kombucha! A true top-notch neighborhood grocery store!

Super kind staff, and so friendly to college students and the community. The food is fresher, and they give students 10 percent off of their groceries. They have meal 0lans etc, they really do have it all and focus on helping the community. I will always shop here.

This little grocery store is exactly the kind of place we all want to frequent. Lots of local offerings, prices that are competitive, and people who care about what you want. They have things in their store that you cannot get anywhere else in the county. I highly recommend checking them out.
