R Place Bar and Grill

Excellent burgers!! Menu is simple and basic, but that's what makes it a great place to eat!! Service was great and fast! Highly recommended that you eat here if you ever have the chance!!!

We had just driven from the Black Hills to spend the afternoon at Devils Tower bouldering and hiking. Then drove down to Pune Haven to spend the night before heading home (Philly). We had only eaten snack bars all day so we were super ready to eat.
We rolled in around 7ish. There are two places side by side in town and this place was packed with cars. Turns out it was Dart night. So my daughter and I bellied up for dinner. The place was packed and although there were no clouds of smoke, people we’re definitely smoking inside so if that bothers you go find a mcdonalds.
The folks were super friendly with several at the bar striking up conversations with us and then teaching us the rules of the dart games. The locals were having a friendly tournament. So much fun to watch.
We met the owner and Bobbie the barmaid was super friendly albeit crazy busy. She knew everyone in the place and even though we were passing through made sure we felt right at home.
Oh yeah, the food was just down-home good. I ordered the steak - cooked perfectly, fries and toast were great. My daughter got the flat iron - ditto. This food was fresh and delightful.

Fun little bar in a pretty small town! Stopped for some food and a drink to get off the highway on the way back to WI; staff was friendly and quick service! Good little local spot to stop and rest.

Great food and friendly atmosphere. Fun place to have a beer, meet up with friends, or grab some minnows on your way to go fishing. Nice and cool in the summer, warm and toasty in the winter.

If your looking for good food good beer and an atmosphere that screams country living you've come to the right place. R place is 10/10 experience that I suggest everyone try.

Me and the fam were passing through and decided to order some takeout. The spicy R burger was amazing! It was around 9pm when we ordered and everything we ordered was hot and fresh! Wish we lived closer so we could have it again!

Awesome food and excellent variety, honestly I've never been disappointed eating or having a few drinks here, the staff is always very friendly and attentive. I've eaten everything on the menu at least 10 times. I highly recommend the burgers or the ribeye

Burger was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!
Took the recommendation of the bartender - 'R Place Burger w/muchers' (plus an egg).
Never heard of 'munchers' before, but they were darn good. :-) Think they were fried up in some exceptionally flavorful grease, so that probably helped. :-) Would highly recommend dropping in for a great burger!!
PS - I thought all eating establishments had banned smoking, but maybe that's just back home, so I had to change my order To Go cuz everyone there was smoking. :-(

Took the boat out for the first time since I bought it.. Thought we would start off the day by eating breakfast in pine haven.. Decided to eat at R place.. The service was great and the food was exceptionally good.. This is the place to eat in pine haven and will make it a point to eat here when I'm out at the lake enjoying the day!!!

The service has been great each time we have visited. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have visited six weeks straight and have enjoyed the food each time.

I have always had great service and friendly personnel at R Place.

Great food! Im not a smoker but you can still smoke in this place, which I think is pretty cool.
