Nice campground on a quiet lake. Lake is perfect for kayaking. No cell service.

There's no better place to get lost than the back roads of the chiquamigan national forest. Mondeaux hardwoods features an excellent artisan well and a mediocre swimming area. The concession stand makes up for it tho AND....it rents a pontoon boat by the hour. Excellent camping.

I've been coming to this place since I was a tween. It has nice swim beach, hiking trails ( watch out for poison ivy, though) and great camping spots.

Beautiful Hike! Even with a few inches of rain this week needed nothing more than waterproof shoes to hike to Mondeaux flowage from Cty E parking

I get my drinking water from Mondeaux. And my hummingbirds also love it. The yellow river is breath taking.
